I dislike the look of the aftermarket bumpers unless you get all the other stuff to match. I mainly just want the steel bumper for the look though, so the factory one is fine for me. I plan to get it.
Yeah I'm just going to the mall, not running a Baja 1000 in reverse everyday. :ROFLMAO:

Seriously though I like the Ford front steel bumper more than the plastic one so that's the one I'll get.

That pic looks to be the part of the modular bumper that is made to be removed. I wonder if the center section and "wings" are a bit more rugged.

For you none BL folks I think the $850 is a good price point. Jeep wants almost double for their steel bumper option.

I don't understand all the talk about factory warranties. It's a bumper. I'm a base model guy and will not be getting the upgrade. I don't like the extra $300 for the upper hoop and the addition for the winch, which will likely require a winch plate and probably other stuff. Already have a nice winch sitting here and will wait on a nice aftermarket bumper, even if it's around $1200-$1500 (if you look at some of the prices on the nice early Bronco bumpers).

You are missing the whole point of an aftermarket bumper. Most aftermarket bumpers will come with light tabs so you can mount lights. So yes, if you don't need all the extras then stay stock.

Below is my 2013 Raptor with an aftermarket bumper. You can't see it but it also allows for a 20" light bar below the 5 light cannons.

BTW .. I also have an aftermarket bumper on my 2019 Raptor that has some custom light tabs.

I'm skipping it on my Big Bend not because I don't want it, but because I'd like for the fog lamp wiring and control to actually come with the vehicle - I think adding mod bumper at the factory removes all that. Figure that's a good circuit to use for controlling (if not actually powering) driving lights down the line without using up one of the AUX switch circuits once I do upgrade bumpers.

This minimal bumper looks great

It does look good!
Wonder if a thin light bar in that bumper opening will interfere with air flow into the intercooler!?

Just remember when choosing an aftermarket bumper, that the GVWR is not very high on the Bronco if you plan on lugging around a lot of gear. Most of the tubular designs would be fine probably, maybe lighter than the stock one.

that's the in the ADD pro bumper and it comes in 2 flavors: Bolt on and frame cut

What I am about to describe here is for the Raptor and the pic you are referring to is just photo shopped by ADD as they intend to make the bumper BUT can't do so as they don't have a real bronco to mock up.

Bolt on is just that .. bolt on. It may require you to remove the inter-cooler shroud BUT but not the IC louvers.

Frame cut means you are cutting the frame horns so the bumper can sit closer to the body. A frame cut will require you to remove the IC shroud and louvers and will require you to relocate the IC behind the grill.

Most after market bumpers will not account for any sensors that may sit in the oem bumper. You will have to relocate them. For example the Adaptive Cruise Control sensor.

It is way TOO early to speculate until the aftermarket can get a bronco and remove the oem bumper to see what is what.

Bolt ON:
