Looking for some information:

I have a 22’ Badlands on Icon coil overs 2-3” lift with Icon’s billet adjustable upper control arms and stock rims. I want to put 37” on. Will the adjustable uppers give enough adjustment to clear the new tires without needing to cut the frame?

Thank you for the help.

I have a 2022 Badlands and installed Icon Stage 4 suspension and guess what? I'm running 37s.

I took out the tire crash bars which is a must. I have a JKS max clearance kit which is not absolutely necessary for posing around town, but definitely needed for more functionality with 37 inch tires.

In all fairness, maybe the OP meant cutting off the crash bar mounts.
Probably.
Still not sure what adjustable UCAs would have to do with anything. 🤔

The icon arms allow you to move the front wheels forward from the stock location. You then lock out the lower control arms the alignment tech uses the upper control arm to adjust alignment now. Not the lowers.

Those running the adjustable control arms need (should) to buy a lock out kit for the lowers so they don’t accidentally shift from hard hits thus screwing up your alignment. I believe my tech said my bronco now has about .75 to 1” forward from stock. This would changes the clearances and contact area during flex and turning. It also changes the way the suspension takes hits.

Makes sense, except depending on the setup you can either be scrubbing on the front or the rear. So if he's trying not to scrub on the front and moves it back he's going to scrub on the rear.

Are you calling the front bumper of the vehicle the front or talking about camber adjustments?

For sure! You’re spot on. Bronco in stock seems to favor firewall a little. Adjusting uca probably isn’t a big enough fix. I’d think It’s more of a fine tuning. When I had stock set up I still needed offset on wheels to not rub full compression, steering lock and crash bar removal and I still rubbed a little on driver side.

But as others have commented… lots of discussion on this topic on here

But depends on everyone’s set up. So many variables 😂👍.

So you’re saying they added negative caster to your alignment set-up to try and clear the tires from rubbing the rear side of the wheel well?
