No, not quite... They moved the lower control arms/wheels forward in the factory adjustment slots and then locked the lowers in that position. After that, caster/camber was set using the adjustable ICON upper control arms.
The purpose wasnāt to use negative caster to gain clearance. It was to...
For sure! Youāre spot on. Bronco in stock seems to favor firewall a little. Adjusting uca probably isnāt a big enough fix. Iād think Itās more of a fine tuning. When I had stock set up I still needed offset on wheels to not rub full compression, steering lock and crash bar removal and I still...
The icon arms allow you to move the front wheels forward from the stock location. You then lock out the lower control arms the alignment tech uses the upper control arm to adjust alignment now. Not the lowers.
Those running the adjustable control arms need (should) to buy a lock out kit for...
For ANC, go into FORScan ā Configuration and Programming ā DSP Module Configuration (AS BUILT format).
Modify first chain or block
The fake/enhanced engine sound is separate. Thatās in the ACM (Audio Control Module)
Use AI chat or Google ai for your code changes and anything else you want...
Oh and use forscan to disable your active noise cancellation system prior to key learning. It really muddies the sound after you improve the sub and be sure you put your bass, treble and mid zero or neutral on your bronco prior to key learning. Also itās a great time to remove the fake engine...
If you have the B&O system you donāt need a harness. Iāve tried the plug in play harness and it didnāt give enough signal to power the key 500.1 amp. the bass was pathetic and couldnāt even perform the key gain learning. I bypassed the whole thing and simply used the pigtail from the amp and cut...
Excuse me???! itās a Grande. I canāt handle a Venti, and you know thisā¦
There was a tense moment this week Iāll have you know, when I overlanded to a new starbies I wasnāt familiar with that had a trail rating 1/10 according to onX.. I struck a curb in the drive through because my scrub...
Itās a nice upgrade and should have come stock. The shift points are the largest āfeltā advantage and the ability to adjust tires is much easier or a few less steps then forscan. No issues with it and happy I did it. I used free ford points for it and installed it myself, takes 10 min ⦠I...
I have not checked any thermal loads before and after, so I could not provide any substantiated data for temperatures. Using ābro scienceā I would think adding air gaps via foam, thinsulate, and the foil back deadening mat would definitely help with insulation like those shiny foil heat...
If the triangle gasket is whistling there in my photos that is your issue most likely. If your door is whistling at the top by your ear then carefully pull down the window gasket on the hard top and even a tiny bit eliminates the whistle. They move down a little.
Ha.
Iām not around the bronco right now but here are some photos of the location. The weather striping sits inside the channel so when the glass is up it compresses the weather striping and seals the air coming in. Follow the contour of the window at an angle so the strip takes up slack in...
Go to Home Depot and buy the self adhesive backed weather striping. Separate the 2 and cut a piece about 3ā or so. Roll window down and slide the strip in there so the adhesive sticks to the upper part of the triangle trim then roll window up and close door so window presses up against it. Then...
It does. But you might miss the rumble of the engine. It was somewhat a disappointment⦠here I thought it was a tough v6. Nah just a quiet tough v6. Ha.
The nice thing is you can always change it back if you donāt like it. But most likely the engine noise you are hearing is fake so by removing...
Cool! Yeah I will get it down soon. Iām lazy. Ha. Just busy but will try to get it posted. I also did not remove the seats or the carpet. You can access the areas with out doing that.
