Fox Performance 2.5 with Eibach HD Lift Springs Experience

Some where in there...pretty close to 2" of lift over Sasquatch in the front, I think. Like a dumb dumb, I never measured my truck stock before I started bolting lots of heavy things on to it. Compared to our mostly unmodified '24 4-door WT, it should be about 2” lift front. From what I have gathered here on the forum, exceeding 2" of lift starts putting notable stress on the front bits of motivational importance. I like the lower center of gravity, too.

I figure with 2" of lift, I just let a Badlands 4-door or stock Sasquatches go first on the trail and they knock off all the high spots that I might have made contact. Then I can come through clean as a whistle keeping my skids nice and gouge free.

I wanted to be sure your new UCA'S work at that height; some won't adjust alignment well under 2"

Thanks. I thought Accutune said something about compatible lift heights with their UCAs, but I only see them mentioning standard or mid-travel suspension is , but long travel is .

I didn't really look too closely at the actual post-alignment numbers, but they did not mention any issues or being out of spec when I asked how it came out. Maybe I will look closer at the sheet and see where the alignment came in the spec'ed range.

I thinks so, too. But I'd like a little more confidence in a favorable result. It is juuuuust enough work I'd like to avoid blindly procuring said springs, re-remove rear shocks, re-replace Eibachs w/said springs, re-reinstall shocks with said springs, try shocks and said springs, re-re-remove shock with said springs, re-re-replace said springs with current Eibach springs that were previously removed, re-re-re-reinstall Fox shocks as they are sprung today...and have nothing to show for it but a lesson in failure only to benefit those that come after me in similar endeavors.

I got to think a 4-door SAS Badlands rear spring has a higher rate than other lighter models. Not sure how a HOSS 3.0 spring would compare. But then again, in '24 they were doing hitches only as a dealer installed accessory, so they weren't beefing up the rear springs for any kind of towing duties.

Oh I thought you said WT. Whatever you're looking for. Just saying. That's enough saids for all of us, though. It does seem like a lot of work regardless. So, yeah.

@userdude my truck is a '22 WT is a 2-door and it came with plastic bumpers front and rear and only a fuel tank skid, no SBD, etc. According to a Ford '22 Bronco data sheet, a stock '22 4-door V6, 10-speed Badlands is 535 pounds heavier curb weight than my stock WT was, before options. I'd think that BL would maybe get a different rate spring...but maybe not.

I wouldn't waste time swapping stock springs around. Plenty of other ways to gain predictable lift.

I've been hoping for some form of Divine intervention.

And despite the curb weight difference between them, they have the same payload and Max GCWR, though the BL has 180 pounds less towing capacity. Not sure why that is, except maybe the different gear ratios?

Badlands comes stock with the steel gas tank skid, yeah? That weighs a lot. Then the swaybar disco has got to be a couple pounds more than just a standard torsion bar up front. Does badlands come with sliders too? I can’t remember. Either way my Wildtrak without anything in it besides me is 6250 pounds. Probably not a useful reference though cuz reasons
