Can two guys easily remove the hard top by themselves or do you need three? I am trying it this weekend for the first time. Thank you.

2 average adults should be able to do it no problem. I know guys that are like 6'4 and 250lbs + that can do it by themselves.

I tried by myself and broke both of the front guide posts just trying to break the gasket seal. lol. It's just a big and awkward size to handle without one of those lifting cranes, especially when trying to figure out how to get out of the back of the bronco with it over your head and to not break the glass.

No neighbors and I live alone...and I doubt my dog would've been helpful. 😅

I have done it by myself each time, maybe 3x so far. Getting it off by yourself is fairly easy for me. Getting it back on is significantly harder. But that too I have done.

My buddy and I removed my 2DR top together, and wrestled it though a door (turning it on its side) into my house. It's not too heavy, but awkward.

The 4 door top is lighter and smaller than the 2DR.

Four doors are way easier since the clam shell section is smaller than on two doors. One healthy person can do the four door relatively easy.

I remove my hard top all the time by myself but I'm also clipping it in to a winch system and pulling it up into the ceiling. Very easy to guide it back down for installation. If I had to physically lift it off, I've seen a single person do it but have never tried that myself. That dude from Hawaii who has the Raptor on YT, he crouches in back and lifts up then walks it off. He isn't exactly large either but my knees are no longer that flexible.

There was a video online showing a guy juggling the Hard top off his Bronco. After seeing that, I knew that I'd never attempt it without someone to help. It's a big, bulky, awkward, very expensive mistake just waiting to happen. Just be careful.

If you have a garage with enough ceiling height, look into a ceiling hoist setup (Lange has one, which I've used for two years now). Makes taking the back off a breeze. Just back in, hook it up, and let the winch lift it off and hold/store it along the ceiling. But if you don't and need to do it manually, it's easily a two man job, mostly just to keep it balanced so you don't drop it. It is significantly easier than removing the soft top, that's for sure! That soft top is heavy and very cumbersome to not tear up the paint.
