Where does your coolant level sit? Max, Min or in between?

I am curious to know what other Raptor owners are seeing for coolant levels, I have not had any overheating issues, but I did notice that my coolant level is sitting just below the min level. Is this normal for others as well?

It'll vary based on engine temperature.

But if it's below the minimum when the engine is cool, feel free to top it off with some pre-diluted coolant.

I keep it at max when cool. Never had a problem. The difference between min and max is very little coolant.

That is something that I found interesting, it really only looks like a couple of ounces difference.

It’s a surge tank. All that really matters is it’s not so high that it over-flows when hot and not so low that it allows air in the system when it gets cold. The level in the tank being a little higher or lower won’t affect cooling one bit. But I would add a tad bit of coolant just because you’re thinking about it now.

Yep, it's approx. 5-6 oz. difference. I top off annually when winter hits.

Thanks for the replies, I did top it off, there does not appear to be any leaks and my oil is normal. 20,466 miles, guess I will keep an eye on it over the next few drives and see if it goes down any.

Lots of owners have had these be low. The factory apparently doesn't "burp" the cooling system very well. Mine (not a raptor) was an inch or two (about a cup) below "min" after 5,000 miles. I would not worry there is some major problem because it's low, though it's good to check for leaks and oil milkshake anyway.

Just top it off with prediluted coolant. But, don't use just any coolant, go get exactly what the manual specifies for your raptor as mixing coolant types is bad.

I keep my vehicles above "min" when the engine is cold, and don't worry too much about going over "max" (as in, I don't even look tbh). As others have said, being only a little above or below won't hurt anything, it's just not optimal.
