Looking for inspiration: LED integration in grille

Hej 6G's community.

I'm looking for an integrated solution for extra LED - for brighter lights off the roads - should not be "decoration" lights.
Don't wanna put them on the roof/Roof rack due to cabling and also issues with legal restrictions here in Switzerland.
Lazer has for many cars great "in grille" solutions, but haven't seen any for the Bronco.

Would there be enough space behind the grille?

I’ve done it to every rappy pickup I’ve had, but all of those had kits specifically to do that very thing. Made it much easier than all the custom bracketry and cutting we had to do for the bronco. But where there’s a will there’s a way

Since been discontinued but if you can find an RTR grille with center light bar, that’s an option.

Looks like the whole yellow space - but IDK where they live/how they drive

No. Biggest issue was when running BD LP6 lights and idling. Would cook the AC condenser but would be fine after a couple spirited runs down the road. Wasn’t an issue with Oracle Vega lights that have the cooling fans.

That might be a solution. The LTPRTZ Flat X light bar is approved and may be used on public roads in Switzerland. Please note that the light bar must be turned off at the same time as the high beams. The easiest way to do this is with the XBB dongle. The light bar’s original mounts can be bent open and fit perfectly onto the existing screws on the front bumper without any modifications.

Which size have you used? I assume it's 23''?
Will the 30'' also fit in?

I installed a Flat X 23“. In Switzerland, the regulation stipulates a maximum of 480 LUX at 25 meters with all lights on. Unfortunately, there are no official documents specifying how many LUX the Bronco’s standard lighting system produces. I measured 406 LUX at 25 meters with the Flat X 23”.



The light bar is truly impressive. It also illuminates the side of the road really well. I’ve already been able to spot several animals at night that I wouldn’t have seen or would have seen too late with the standard lighting.
