Exactly one year of owning a ford after 40 years of GM, mostly Chevy. What a mistake. Learned my lesson. Never again, obviously. Ford sucks, from top to bottom. They produce cheap crap. One time with GM had a trivial recall in all those years. ONCE. I'm at four or five in one year. Disgraceful incompetent people. Probably goes back to the unions.

My 2.7 is on the list as a recall, per Ford website using VIN

My guess; it will be a piece of shielding of some sort to shield part of the harness away from heat. Hoping it is a simple fix.

Please post the recall procedure when it comes out... I spent a bit of time attaching various wire harnesses I put in for lights and flat tow to the stock ones, and I'm curious which are affected.

The fuel pump one is the one that bothers me the most. A summer or two ago, I was going down the highway at 65 or so during the summer and I lost acceleration and had to drift to the side of the highway. Turned off and back on and it was ok. Had a similar thing happen in my driveway. Luckily it hasn't happened since.

I had a similar experience a couple of summers ago. I stopped to let some wildlife to cross marina parking lot and the truck stalled out.

At what point does a class action start for ford to buy back all of our broncos...? Is that a thing? I've got a pre-ordered ('21) received a 2023. I've got less than 26k miles and now 3 recalls and multiple other non recall part/sensor failure/faults and its not even a daily driver. No remedy for the wire harness issue yet... tried tape? I wonder if that is because they hope they'll catch on fire and put our Broncos out of their misery.... these check engine lights and recalls getting freaking crazy... especially owning TWO new fords...

I noticed a couple of wires wrapped in cloth tape going to a connecter next to the radiator overflow bottle. That section is right up against the passenger fender and it's a sharp edge. I doubt it's that simple, but most of the other wiring is buried under stuff.

Unless this recall requires tearing my Bronco apart I'd rather Ford not buy it back. I don't like the option mixes on the new Broncos.

There is zero chance Ford is buying my Bronco back because first they won't, and second I love it beyond words. Plus they are fixing this stuff.

I had the same anti-deterrence system and .. very clean mice now. And my interior air filter still fills up with acorns.

Well, we got to try something, don't we? The two repairs to my wiring harness cost me over $800. I also encircle our covered parking area with Tomcat rodent repellent. It always feels like I should be doing some sort of voodoo black magic chant as part of that process.

Put some cloves on the engine bay. Rodents are attracted to the insulation as it’s now plant-based and smells like food/nesting material.

Cloves, peppermint, cinnamon, eucalyptus etc. can overwhelm their sense of smell.
