Is the JKS max clearance kit always necessary for 37 tires?

I did think about this, I've read so many mixed things about the zone UCA's rubbing or not on the Mickey Thompsons without spacers, but less likely to rub on the KO3's. Discount will be mounting the tires, I don't think they'll mount spacers in the event of excessive rubbing but I would want to do the spacers myself anyway so I know it's done properly and torqued accordingly. Really tho I just need it to be driveable to my garage so I can start doing some cutting

Discount used to not touch anything with spacers, I used to have to jump through hoops with my old ranger because it would rub the frame bad without them due to the wheel offset.
But now I know at least if they're already mounted, they will check the torque but other than that they won't worry about them. So you could either throw the spacers on before you take it up there, or just deal with a little possible rubbing on the way home and mount them.

Do you also trail often? If so, any rubbing with articulation or full-lock?

I'm looking into some other wheels; in the meantime though I still like the factory squatch wheels but my 1" spacers already shipped so gonna try them anyway. I believe it should result in a +4-5mm offset. I'm also leaning towards a "smaller" 37" tire too like the BFG's.

No, I haven't done any trails so I can't comment on that. When I had 35" KM3's (on stocl suspension) they would rub on the front mudflaps at full lock going up a hill or over curbs. I removed the mudflaps and the 37's with lift haven't rubbed on anything so far.

I am now waiting on my TPMS to arrive and my new Rocktrix wheels and 37 Blackhawk RT tires will get mounted.
I will see if the 1.5/.5 level kit and +12 offset will clear at least on level terrain.
I am NOT going to be too concerned with slight rub on full flex and SB disc.
I've realized I should never have wheels cranked in that situation.
I am going to have to remove the AIG mud flaps from the rock rails, due to they stick out a bit.
The BroFlap set is inbound to rectify that issue. I should be able to mount much farther back.
I'll upload pics before and after. Looking forward to getting the Superchip programmer in as well.
That will allow us to set the wheel size and do all the other mods and tunes with our devices.

Due to a hang up on tire decision I haven't had mine mounted yet but I ended up ordering some Cooper Rugged Treks since they come in at only 70lbs, they measure in at 36.54". Mounted some Borne spacers today too, just gonna keep the factory wheels for now.

I'll cut the front body mount as needed, will order the Metalcloak clearance kit for the rear and then go from there.

I'll be interested to see how you mount your mudflaps, I currently use RokBlokz but they're going to be unmountable once the rear crash bar mount is cut.

Installed today, Cooper Rugged Trek 37/12.50/17.
So far no rubbing during mall crawl status, they come close but I drove home without any contact. I did have to remove the front mudflaps though so I'll have to figure something else out for the RokBlokz.

Barely clearing the crash bar mounts but I can fit a finger between the tire and mounts on either side.
This is the Zone 2.25" paired with 1" Borne spacers.
I will work on clearance over the next couple weeks before I hit any trails.

Your build is actually one of my main reasons for pulling the trigger on the 37's

Im loving the cooperation and inspiration we have here!
I just initiated the final steps yesterday and she is on 37s now!
Caveat to this is minimal lift and mods....

Added a 1 inch front space and a 1/2 spacer to the rear using level kits to get the lil bump up. Have a 1/2 inch rake in the rear for gear and trailer. It took 3 separate level kits Frankensteined to make it happen. Not all spacers are the same thickness which is so important. The wheels are 17x9 with a +12 Rocktrix 114. Tire are the Blackhawk Ridgecrawler RT. They were shy of 300$, and are not stupid heavy.

Took her out on some hills and ditches to flex and ONLY had slight rub when full force turn on fully compressed....nothing with swaybar or normal turns. Still drives and rides as before with a lil extra humm of RT that is really a MT. They measured at 36 3/8. They are quite rounded on the tread so some squish for tread patch.

The Broflaps are perfect! No need for any rear well mods.

Now all is left is the SC flashcal+ to change tire ratio and low pressure warnings due to 37s need less psi.
Plan on an 87 tune as well.

How are your Broflaps mounted? Are they using the body clip holes that the fender liner mounts too? I gotta figure out my RokBlokz and I was thinking about just drilling new holes into them and mounting them in some weird custom way

Its about as efficient and easy as it gets....three u-nuts and provided hardware. I didn't need to put a screw in the top, it hugs well. The back is screws into the bumper/wheel well using a stencil. I haven't done rears yet, but they provide a 90 deg drill bit extension tool!
I went with the originals.

Yep, this is Don with Bro-Flaps. They mount to the existing fender-liner holes like you described. If you decide to retrofit your RokBlokz to mount to the front like ours mount, message me and I’ll send you some blems laying around the shop . You’d also need six u-nuts and six buttonheads with washers.
