I got my R/C last year for cheap and I see the price has come down further if you hunt. Like all of the aftermarket bumpers you are left to your own devices as what to do about the license plate.

Oh, my bad, sorry, I had just rolled out of bed when I typed that up

A while back, I lost my factory rear license plate bracket in a deep water crossing (right around 3’). It ripped out all the plastic attachments, the bolts, and removed the plug from the wiring

I do a lot of water crossings (Arkansas is awesome!!), and because of that, I wasn’t wanting a bumper mounted license plate. I ended up combining a Diode Dynamics spare tire light bracket with some of their lights (as my third brake light), and a license plate bracket I got from 4x4TruckLEDs (I want to say it’s a Baja Designs license plate bracket. I don’t recall and it has no branding)

It’s a bit annoying to take on and off when rotating the tires, but I never have to worry about losing it

The 4WP engine skid plate it SIGNIFICANTLY beefier than the factory engine skid. Probably twice as heavy
I'm sure it'll be way more beefy than the plastic one I've got from the factory now lol. Was bummed to see that it's just plastic on my wildtrak. Thanks for all the info!!!

It’s still available, just a lil more expensive than when I ordered - https://a.co/d/0c8HVT0q

I’m LOVING these bumpers. They do seem to chip a bit easy (I think the powder coat is cheap), but other than that, they’re awesome!! The winch mount makes the front install rather tedious, but so worth it IMO

Not too heavy, but both front and rear are strong and have not bent when dropping onto rocks or bumping into rocks or trees

I hit a deer at 45mph and the bumper could have cared less. There’s absolutely no damage on the bumper, didn’t even tweak the position of it. Cracked my grilled and valence panel, but that’s it

If I were building another Bronco, I would buy the exact same bumpers again (the deal is just too good to pass on), but with my 8112’s, I’d find a different skid plate set (because the front reservoirs are rather exposed)

I did IAG flare deletes and that really changed the look of the entire vehicle, with those bumpers

I’ve not installed a license plate on the front, so I’m of no help there. I’d think right below the winch mount would be the spot I’d choose

My man. $40 just got me a BADASS skid plate from 4 wheel parts!! Seriously can't thank you enough for turning me on to this! I thought this was going to replace just the little splash shield that you remove to do oil changes - but turns out it's the bash plate that goes up to the bumper under the intercooler. It worked great with my standard bumper (the normal plastic one from Ford - not the capable or modular bumper). Just 4 bolts, didn't even need the replacement intercooler brackets it came with. Unbolted the old one and bolted the new one on. It just barely clears my stock tow hooks which is great news as well. Plus it doesn't interfere with my Steelcraft HD brush guard either.

Gonna wait to install my rear bumper, but that did arrive in one piece too!! Just waiting for my dad to be available to help me lift it into place - many hands make light work.

Crazy question... Did your rear bumper come with installation instructions? I can't find anything online, and also mine didn't come with installation instructions lol.

Mine looks like the OPs after getting rear ended by a NO-licecnced, NO insurance, (probably illegal) immigrant.
Ordered one of these el cheapos..( less than the deductible) 🤣😂🤪.will report back once installed.

Shoot, I thought I was the only one hit by a no licensed, no insured individual who spoke little English. This is the picture of my first bronco totalled

Yes, both front and rear came with their own black and white instructions

The original online PDF I had no longer loads. I did manage to find this one for you: https://static.summitracing.com/global/images/instructions/smt-61468w.pdf
That's wild, it must have been taken over by SmittyBilt or something because the part number looks exactly the same except mine is 4WP at the beginning instead of S/B. Thank you so much for the link, looks like the same exact thing and I have all the included parts it says in the PDF! Sweet!

Just installed the bumper yesterday and it was pitch black when I finished, so I'll upload a pic soon. The install was really easy except for the damn parking sensors. My parking sensors in my 2022 wildtrak were slightly different from the ones in the instructions, and evidently they didn't quite fit right with the retainer spring clip things. Why did they try to reinvent the wheel with these damn sensor mounts!? Anyway, it was a pretty easy install from there, and I would absolutely recommend the bumper. I did the install without any help, didn't end up needing my dad at all because the bumper could just balance on the tow hitch while I lined up each side. Had to leave all the bolts loose until I got it lined up, but it sits fairly straight and I'm happy with it overall! Those tow hooks that attach to the frame are BEEFY. Now I just need a couple light pods.
Was also glad to see that the 4WP one came with the license plate relocation kit. Relocates it to the spare tire using custom lug nuts with threaded inserts for bolts on the end for the bracket to bolt to. It also reuses the factory license plate light and includes a wire to extend it from the wire harness on ther bumper. Honestly super nice for the price!! License plate relocation kits on their own are usually like $80-100, a third of the cost of the whole bumper.
Last thing worth noting, the bumper didn't interfere with my Atubeix Mud flaps at all. The ends of the bumper don't touch the flaps, and the mount for the flaps uses the frame bolts for the bumper, and they are sandwiched just fine along with the bumper brackets!
I'm gonna upload the installation PDF here so that it hopefully remains online even if Smittybilt or 4WP's websites disappear to the void in 10 years.

Here are pics, as promised!
As you can see, "straight" is a relative term, but I think the bumper looks fine. I'll probably try to straighten it out more at some point though by loosening the four bolts that attach the bumper to the tow hooks.

After having mine for several months I like it more than at install. As for that gap I made some short mud flaps to stop most of the mud flinging up through the gap.

If you want to eliminate that side gap look at post #22 in this thread on how I resolved this.

I have the RC too and love it and it, like me is cheap, win win. Mine came with the lights, which I wired into the rear power point so I get 45 minute camp light availability. Mine also came with the spare tire license plate relo. I don't like spare tire mounted ones so I modded it to work on the left tow shackle mount. Eventually I didn't like that either and bought a Turn Off Road tailgate mount....perfect.

I'll give that a try if just loosening the bolts doesn't do enough - thanks though, I totally missed that! Hopefully it's fine with the bolt installed - would like the peace of mind knowing that it's installed with all the bolts it was designed with. Not the end of the world if I do need to remove it though.
