This is interesting - my brand new 2026 BRaptor got the passenger front flare knocked off at a car wash and the guys there told me they've had that issue on several BRaptors (I wish they had told me before it went through . . . but at least they paid for the flare's repaint and PPF).

Good old slap and scratch car wash strikes again I guess. I was reading through the FSA the other day before it got pulled, apparently my old Raptor qualified for this one according to the VIN list provided. Crazy that happened to you but seemed pretty small overall. And I’d avoid that car wash in general

If my reading is correct the recall is due to a hardware issue. Being ripped off at a carwash is a different situation.

BRaptor flares should be recalled just for being fugly.
preach. My buddy's looking at RRaptors, and was shocked when I told him that if I was looking for a higher end option, I'd take the RRaptor over the BRaptor, particularly when he knows I am not fond of pickups. If someone were to give me the choice between upgrading from my big bend to any Bronco I wanted, cost free, I'd be getting into a Badlands, not a Braptor. Sir-Mix-a-Lot might be into big butts, but I'll have to pass.

Wow, Fugly... everyone has their own opinion. Big Butts... yep, on Trucks, not 2 legs!!
My Dec 2025 Build isn't showing any signs of loose flares. But I never do automatic car washes for many reasons, prefer home wash or old school manual wash bay.

Curvy Body Style; I moved up to the BRaptor from my intended Bronco model for multiple reasons, but one was the Sexy Curvy Looks... it Rocks! The paint matched Roof and Fenders totally added to the BRaptor's appearance.

Based on gas station and various stops, we've discovered it's quite the attention draw. Receive many compliments, admiration, and Thumbs up on road.

Couldn't enjoy it more... But I like big flares... Drive a '24 F450 Dually, and previously owned wide fender & whale tail 240Z and '82 911 wide body.

You get used to the flares and actually come to appreciate them. With the top off, I think it actually looks pretty bad "ass" from the rear (I see what you did there). But the way it drives and its overall capabilities, it's a small price to pay if they don't agree with you visually..

Agreed. I suspect it might not have been very secure from the factory and it seems like it's been a common issue hence the recall. After an attempt to reuse the OE push pins and clips, the bodyshop ordered brand new ones and it seems very secure now.

The BRaptor's Flares aren't "Removable" in an easy fashion like Bronco Fender flares / extensions. The BRaptor's Flares aren't really intended to be removed. The clips being discussed are the body clips... which are also recommended to replace anytime fender flare is removed.

Looking at the diagrams, that's a lot of clips to replace.

You are full of Braptor hate. I get compliments on my big butt all the time.
