I can not decide on new tires. And am hoping people have pictures of what theirs look like mounted.

I have a 2023 two door wildtrak Sasquatch and the stock tires are worn.
I’ve had issues with rock chips and am curious if either of these might throw slightly less rocks than the good years?

Also, if you have gotten a heavier tire have you had to change the spare tire mount on the back?

Either tire is a good choice...what is your use case?

Just daily driving. I drive on gravel 50% of the time. Also, in Oregon with LOTS of rain and mud. These are the two tires a lot of my logging friends suggested, but I was hoping to see what they look like on.

The KM3s will probably be your best choice for your use IMO. The Mickey's are a great tire but the MT tread probably overkill for your use. I personally don't have any photos but there are several tire sites that you can input your vehicle and see a virtual photo. Or try a search here on the site...I'm sure someone has posted photos.

Mickeys MT's don't throw rocks. Had them on the Bronco for 58K miles. They're not the quietest tire by any length, but you're comparing to KM3's so apparently not worried about road noise. They did better on fuel mileage than my new Wildpeak AT4s are getting. By about .5 miles per gallon even though I'm actually on the pizza cutters now @11.5" wide vs. 12.5" on MTs. They weren't quite as good as the Goodyears because they're heavier but I also went to a lighter Method wheel to save some weight. Stock GY are horrible for rocks. Horrible in general actually. Unbelieveably bad!

Regardless of which 35 you get, I'd recommend a tailgate brace. I noticed it eliminated any creaking from the rear when I installed my Hammer Built brace. There are a bunch of options out there.

Can anyone answer this? I too am curious if you need to change that by using a same size but heavier tire than the stock Goodyears.

Nitto Ridge Grappler is another good option.

Note that an M/T (generally...) means Mud Terrain, with big voids between the knobs on the tires. This means fewer rocks thrown, but louder and heavier (they're usually built tougher) and worse in icy conditions.

This is complicated since Ford put "Goodyear MT's" on the Sas (including Wildtrak) models through 2024, where MT was said to refer to "max traction". They aren't mud terrains. They now have GY RT's. Less confusing IMO.

An A/T is an "all terrain". They're a lot more general tires. You'll probably see people suggest you get all terrains, because mud terrains have several drawbacks while being good at certain things.

A lot of people consider the M/T's lookers, though, since they're so knobby. The Baja M/T's, for instance, you can see are pretty stout looking tires. I have the Maxxis Razr M/T, which I think looks nice. I don't deal with ice a lot and don't think they're loud, either.

You might also want to specify getting a Load C tire, too, since Load D/E/F are a rougher ride. Load C's can be a little harder to track down in big tire sizes, though.

I would recommend a tailgate brace with any tire heavier than the stock sasquatch. My tires and wheels combined are about 90lbs and I had creaking from the tailgate off road and over pot holes before I added a brace.

Are you sure you want mud terrain tires? I would normally say K03 or Baja Boss AT. Those are the finalists in my tire upgrade once my KO2s are done.
