Stop Sale on all Broncos:
Oh boy. This is going to be fun for dealers to fix on the first year runs that are stuck on old software. It could be a blessing in disguise for those guys.

This is the “no one keeps rolling rocks” recall

It would be nice if they addressed the what-seems-like hundreds things that are actually an issue with Sync4 - but screen going black is pretty far down on the list

Really happy I bought mine before sales were halted!

Was looking forward to doing a few tweaks in forscan.. I know we don't know what the fix will be exactly, but should I wait until after the fix before I start tinkering?

The worse that can happen is that you'll have to go back and make the changes (or some of them) again.

This new Bronco badlands that I am looking at was built in May 2025. It looks it will have probably been on their lot a full year. Besides the bad gas is there anything else I might need to be concerned about with a car that’s been sitting on a dealer lot for a year?

Wow. I got really lucky. I drove my 2026 off the lot Friday a week ago. Saw this thread and looked up my VIN on NHTSA today, and it is part of this recall. 🙏 It would have driven me crazy to wait.

I didn't get the recall notice from Ford directly or on the app, but the VIN for my '25 HE is on the notice. No issues noticed, so far, just 5 months in in ownership, but I've got a 1,000 mile trip coming up next week, ... guess I might want to note where my nearest dealer is. Would not care too much ordinarily, but I'll be towing a UHaul on the way back home a week later. Kinda like to have the cameras and IPC stuff working.

Wonder if this recall applies to those that have blackouts due to screen or APIM module failure, NOT due to high temperatures.
There have been a bunch of module failure posts here... usually requiring module replacement, which can be expensive if out of warranty. Would those also be covered?
The point of the recall is to address the danger of not having a functioning back up camera. I'm thinking repairs should be covered, regardless of the cause.

At this point I think it would be easier to say which recalls I didn't get for My 21. Which are only two. I got the Rear child Safety lock, Seat belt, Rear camera, Engine Valve, rear shocks, Fuel pump, Seat Adjuster bolts, and now APIM recall. The only ones I haven't got it the Windshield adhesion and top (Mine is a soft top).

Thank goodness! If I hit something backing up because I'm too dumb to look I can blame Ford. Man do we live in a great country.
