Do all 2025 Broncos come with a hitch?

My dealer said this is the case but I thought it was only that the wiring was already pre wired

I picked it up yesterday and didn’t even notice that it didn’t have the hitch. I know it is a dealer installed option so maybe they forgot?

My 2025 Heritage did not come w a hitch or wiring for it as far as I can tell. I actually was really surprised, even my old 2012 Wrangler came w all that stuff standard. And all new 4Runners come w hitches, as do the even lamer Honda Passports.

Thank you. I was confused because they seemed to be saying that they all came with a basic hitch, but it was extra for the trailer brakes package.

If you need/want a hitch, lots of DIY options out there for reasonable cost. If you are just using it for a hitch rack or something, no need to complete the wiring. If you are pulling a trailer, any Ford dealer can activate the module, or you can do it in Forscan.

As others have said, no not all Broncos come with a hitch. My 24 Big Bend did not.

I’m most probably going to get the Mabett hitch which bolts on w/o having to remove the bumper. All I’m going to use it for is a bike rack.

My '25 Heritage Edition Bronco came with the dealer-installed pre-wired towing pkg ($750 option).

Trailer Tow Prep Package, meaning wiring to the hitch area, is standard on all Broncos. You must add the option for the Trailer Tow Package. It is a dealer installed option where the hitch and 4/7 pin wiring harness are installed by the dealer.

Something else, I believe, that you won't get if you don't select a Factory Hitch is the trailer brake component. When you add a Receiver/Hitch, you won't have that function.
