I traded my 2023 Heritage Edition for a new 2025 Badlands Sasquatch with the 2.7. My old console safe won't fit the new Bronco due to the redesigned center console with the relocated power ports. Ford appears to make a console safe for this new design on the 2025 and 2026. The safe claims it's designed for 4 door, automatic Broncos with the new power port design. However, right on the Ford accessory website, it specifically says it won't fit the Badlands. Does anyone know of a console safe that will fit a 2025 4 door badlands Sasquatch with 2.7 and auto? Is the center console really different between the trims?

I have one in my '25 BL 2-door, so it must be unique to 4-doors.

The Ford site says not compatible w/ BL, Heritage, & Stroppe. Based on the 2 reviews, it would appear those trims receive a console with different dimensions. The only thing I can think of that might be different with the extra doors is maybe be the ac ducts to the rear seats. But is that feature unique to only those trims? 🤷‍♂️

Fwiw, the maker of the product (ConsoleVault) has it listed on their site with no trim restrictions but it is currently out of stock. Might be worth contacting them directly to ask if an updated version is coming soon.

I had seen those. Does it look weird with two different headrests in the front?
It comes with both front headrests if you buy the one linked above.

That is correct. You get a matching driver's headrest (no safe).

I don't think I want to change out my headrests. Just trying to figure out how the center console is different on the badlands vs big bend if both are a 4 door auto 2.7. And why does Ford say it won't fit the badlands but console vault lists no restrictions. Of course, console vault is sold out. Ugh.

Pure speculation on my part, but reading between the lines...

Initially, it was clearly being sold by Ford without trim restrictions. The 2 reviews indicate BL owners ordered/received them only to discover it wouldn't fit. Ford & CV then got together, figured out where the issue was, and revised the description to exclude those trims. CV then either pulled remaining stock or, more likely, sent it to Ford to sell for specific trims only. Easier for them to just mark it as sold out rather than edit specific fitment details.

Since the product is still listed on the CV site, though, I suspect they are working on a new version that is compatible with all, or possibly a separate model just for the excluded trims. If they weren't planning a revision, they probably would just delete the listing completely. Worth an email to see if they can give you any hope for the future.

Well, I ended up ordering the under floor safe that goes in the storage area under the cargo area floor. It was pricey but Ford has 15% off accessories and I used my Ford pass points I got for buying the new vehicle so got a decent discount. I just need some place to store my firearm securely.

No, the headrest safe and drivers do not tilt. I like it for a pistol because you don't have to get out of the Bronco to lock it up where someone can watch you.
