Touch up paint kits and paint kits

So a large piece of rock salt got kicked up from some vehicle and got my A-pillar, there is a little chip in that part. I can't remember, but a member on here a while ago was saying they purchased a kit to paint match for an accessory he was putting on his vehicle. If I remember correctly, it came with a spray can along with clear coat. However, at this point I just need the touch up paint. Does anyone find that description of that paint kit familiar and know what I am trying to pin point? I just need the touch up kit, but if the kit also comes with the spray cans of the matching paint and clear coat, I am sure that I can use it. It is for the Iconic Silver color. Also, I guess I need the PPF for the A pillars just to mitigate this issue from happening in the future.

Not sure what you read previously, but I have used automotivetouchup.com for touch up and paint match paints for years for different projects from touch up pens to full color match panels and accessories. Always been a great match.

Dealer has it. Clean with isopropyl first. PPF is a must though this is a great option of have black soft top. Had I seen this before I ppf windshiled surround wouldnhave been a serious option.

I did the front hood and fender body armor and fullmfront ppf except grill. Full front ppf is a must just for road grit let alone winter road crushed rocks.

I second this recommendation. Automotivetouchup.com has been my go-to for paint touch up for 7+ years. It can take up to two weeks to get your order as they mix on demand. Still, worth it.

Paintscratch says original factory touch up paint. The other site is custom mixed. I’d go with paintscratch

I just buy one of the Ford touch up pens for each of my vehicles right from the Ford parts counter. No spray, just a brush for paint and clear coat.
