My 2025 does NOT have the capability to add the usual top center Mabett light for the interior, so I tapped into the side light in back. I used a Bison Offroad Yak! light (600 lumens) and it nestles in PERFECTLY when I mounted in on the bottom bolt for the rear speaker pods.

I fished the wire through the rollbar so it's barely noticeable. I'll swap to 1/4" soft split loom--I only had plastic split loom....ugh.

What do you think---add a light to the other side?

Last, I really like that I can rotate the light back for light beyond the car, or straight down onto the groceries, etc.

You'll have to show the 2 lights on the Roll bar. I'd bet that you can plug 2 of these in their place and generate a ton of light.

I have one and find it more than adequate.

Unique solution and kudos to the ingenuity.

May I suggest a layer of window tint over the lens to both camouflage it and have it coordinate more naturally with the interior and it will reduce the harsh brightness and provide a better overall aesthetic. And yes, I would install another one on the other side to match (but that’s just my OCD - your OCD may vary) 👍🏼

Thanks for the compliment! Since the light is mounted with one bolt only, I'm able to rotate is about 25 degrees overall. The light is rotated backwards slightly, which is why it's so bright. I rotated it straight down so the rear enclosure is lit, not me. Much better...

Can you show me what wires you tapped into ? Or tell me? I’m trying to wire my own lights and I can’t tell if I’ve got it right. Seems like there is always power present.

I ended up taking it off, partially because I wasn't getting consistent power, and partially because I wanted a more integrated solution. There are three wires to the side lights in back, and I tried tapping into two of them, with limited luck.

That’s what I found but there is constant power until the bronco times out. I’d like to not put another switch in but I think I’m going to have to.
