How do I turn off cargo lights and dome light?

How do I turn off the cargo and dome light for watching movies at the drive in with the tailgate open?

In my Explorer with the hatch open I had to manual close the latch on the hatch making it think it was closed then the interior lights turned off. This didn’t work with my Bronco. Any help out there?

They timeout after about 10 mins if you dont open any other doors, at least on mine they do. The light control buttons are on the overhead console. Not sure which does what, but one should turn them all off. Possibly the one closer to the windshield in the passenger

side.

So I figured it out. With the tailgate open just manually close the latch on the tailgate. Make sure you hear 2 clicks. After 20sec the interior/cargo lights turn off.
At first I was only pushing the latch and stopped after 1 click but that didn’t work. 2 clicks is fully closed.
