I had the Stek Dynoshield film added to my Bronco last spring. The Bronco was 4 months old and I hadn't had a chip or crack yet.

No issues since then. It does result in some wiper chatter so I do regularly apply Rain-X on the film.

So far so good, can get some slight wiper chatter from time to time but if you maintain / clean it with WPF RESTORE (I believe it's just a light ceramic based cleaner) or similar product it's def worth the protection to me. Have had a few rocks hit the windshield on the highway at high speed and thus far the film has helped mitigate any damage.

Don't have it but as posted above there is also a lot of positive feed back on the Ford Hood Protector Aeroskin II Trail Armor as well. Bunch of threads and many have them painted to match.

Exoshield saved my windshield, but did have to replace it from the rock hit. Cost more than Xpel, but it is a thicker material & I highly doubt the Xpel would've saved the glass. (It was a big rock which caused $1K damage to the hood). I do use Xpel windshield protection on other rides that are not as flat as our Bronco windshield, since Exoshield can get very costly for the extra labor involved on curved glass.

Easy install? I’ve been running the Exoshield ultra. It’s been great so far!

Exoshield saved my windshield but did have to replace it from the rock hit.

im going to have to replace my Exoshield as well here pretty soon. I know it’s for sure helped me though!

The installer who applied my PPF did it, so I can’t speak to it firsthand. My understanding is that it does take two people and the biggest effort is just getting the air bubbles out.

I did also replace it with the Ultra. Shop only supplies the GT3, so I did buy it direct from Exosheild and had the shop do the swap. Still curious why Exoshield says the Ultra needs to be replaced more often than the GT3 (2yrs instead of 3)? Never got a direct answer to that. All worth it to me to save the original glass & the tint that would also have to be redone.

It helps deflect the airflow and rocks that cause windshield failure. I have almost 90K with the original windshield

A must to prevent the bug soup on the windshield for sure! As for heavier items such as rocks, I'm going to add the film to the glass as well.

These deflectors should have been standard or an option out of the factory with the aerodynamics of the Bronco. They are a sexy brick on wheels.....just sayin.

I haven’t used Exoshield or a windshield film before. Don’t you get scratches in the film from normal windshield wiper use?
