So the rtr is going to a less capable, but cheaper option? Why is this a bad thing? I don't understand this viewpoint.
Seems the argument is that they’re calling it an “introduction to the Raptor family” by installing Wildtrak shocks and 0mm offset wheels rather than actually increasing the travel

Well, I'm not here to convince you it is bad and neved did I say it is " bad". I am simply pointing out the fact they are hyping it up and trying to convince buyers that is something that its not, so whoever is looking into this doesn't get the wool pulled over their eyes, and think they are paying up for a significant leap in capability with "Raptor technology" like they claimed (which turns out is just anti-lag), than say, a base with a sas pack. A Badlands suspension, stickers, grille and a anti lag is a far cry from creating what they are hyping as "An introduction to the raptor family". No doubt this is the right bronco for someone that wants something with a lil extra panache.. but that is all they will be paying for is panache. I do appreciate the fact Ford is doing something different, but as a consumer I don't appreciate trying to sell it as something it is a far cry from.

I haven’t read this thread. Late to the game. So when ford says “wide-track suspension” they don’t mean longer control arms with increased travel. But just slapping on a +0 offset wheel???

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Overland crowd is gonna start buying negative offset wheels then saying they have a “+4 inch kit” at cars and coffee

I think the whole "intro into Raptor" is just a play on words.... meaning, on the door step. If you get a Ranger Raptor, you're already in! But I agree, it's a stupid moniker, and the RR makes a far better case in bang for your buck. Put a removable top on the RR, I'm in.... 🤠

😆. Next year they are going to slap an exhaust, CAI, softer tire and sticker pack on a 4 cylinder mustang and calling it the introduction to the Ford GT and say you're welcome America, now pay up...

Many folks don’t know the difference so this will likely be fairly successful. Most aftermarket companies adopt the same marketing strategy to sway the ignorant.

Just to be clear, there is nothing wrong with this trim. Looks pretty cool. Not really more expensive compared to other trims either. Just realize you are not getting a different suspension.

Uhm, you can option internal bypass Fox coilovers! Which have never been offered on a Bronco (besides the Wildtrak that I have two of 😂)

Do wheel spacers count as wide track or is this designation only achieved by different wheels? Asking for a friend. (I’m the friend)
