Not sure exactly what this is, but somehow still would want it on my 2.3L

"Software upgraded to improve turbo performance (off-road optimized anti-lag tech)"
" And then we added our software-operated, race-derived anti-lag system. "

I perceived that as a similar solution like Pedal Commander.

So...a Badlands with a Raptor cooling fan, a very small perch collar lift in front and an appearance package? The Jersey Shore / South Beach crowd will love it.
I wouldn't count on it even being a Badlands as a base. We don't know what gears, transfer case, front end, etc. This might be a base with a puck lift, wheels/badlands tires, fan and software from the performance perspective. They brag up getting the foxes IF you take SAS. So what from the Sas package are you NOT getting? No mention of armor. They talk about having to go UP to Badlands to get the foxes.

Massively underwhelming. I think the AEV Jeep (at least the 392+37s package) is more impressive. AEV being analogous to RTR.

Other thoughts, "You get what you pay for" likely isn't even going to apply. I'd guess a significant portion of the cost of a real Raptor with a tiny fraction of the differences and resulting performance. See my comprehensive list of said differences here.

If so, that seems like a real stretch to claim that 'improves turbo performance'

Given the emphasis they put on keeping the cost down and the fact that it doesn't come with SAS out of the box, my belief is this is going to be at its core, a base with an appearance package My guess is Hitachis with a puck lift, wheels (badlands tires are shown) their software to keep the turbo spooled, and raptor fan. Probably M190 front diff, no lockers, no 4a, 33's so 4.46 gears...

No. Watching the "stories" on FB regarding the reveal, the "Base" RTR model will have HOSS 2.0 suspension. The optional Sasquatch package will have the HOSS 3.0 Fox suspension.

ah cool, nice to be wrong about that. Youre getting SAS coilovers then out of the box. I guess that's something.

I highly suspect that is incorrect. To be fair PCM software can be way more effective than any pedal commander. The "anti lag" it can deliver is completely different than something as simple as changing a throttle vs. pedal position curve. They likely just used that feature straight out of the Raptor...

There was no mention of front locker or 4A. So I surmise that it will be a m190 front, HOSS 2.0 suspension, 4.46 gears on the "Base" RTR model - fairly close to the old Black Diamond trim.

No armor either correct? I'd guess no rear locker either, for high speed desert stuff I wouldnt think lockers would be necessary at all.
