Lol. Well, when you looked at it and thought, "Is that too many hexagons?", you probably already knew it was too many hexs and now you also know DON'T ask these goons for a second opinion.

They May be UGLY, but they do WORK!
I got to work today, and my door handles were not covered in road slime.
Personally I do not think they are ugly.... Actually kind of cool. They just do not match the aesthetic you have there.... They might look really cool on an entirely different vehicle. They just do not look good on yours.... But you did ask for opinions, and lets be honest, my opinion does not count for much and should not.

They might look kind of cool it they were matte black on a star wars themed or space themed bronco... Not sure but it would be interesting to see.

This. You’ve got sci-fi deflector shields behind retro caps. It’s like a Mandalorian helmet paired with a fedora. Bronco doesn’t know what century it’s in.
...Or anyone wearing a fedora. At all.

Your imagery really made me laugh though lol

I don't think any current Mud Flap is going to look right with those ADV fenders, You would need something that extended way up too meet the line of the fender lip to be effective and not stick out like a sore thumb...

Barring that, a matt-black flap that blends in would be the best thing to avoid drawing the eye to them.

I am always impressed when an engineer/designer makes something that is both functional AND aesthetically pleasing. You got the functional part right!
