Not sure if you guys have heard of Kingpin but I wanted to take a moment and tell you about their products. They make these awesome 12" and 40" light bars that are designed for interior cargo/work light use. We know that there is NO LIGHTING in these Broncos so a 12" bar in the back (or two) is an awesome addition to have. The bars have mounting brackets included that you can either screw in or use the included adhesive tape. They can easily be connected to the rear cig plug so that you don't have to bother running any wires. They have two styles available

The V-Series lights throw a slightly narrower light beam compared to F-Series lights. The lens is narrower. This can provide more isolation and less bleed into other areas where you may not want light.

The F-Series light beam is wider than the V-Series beam. The lens is wider. It also features a built in on/off switch AND a toggle switch allowing the light to change from white to red.

You can either wire these bars up to a cig. plug (and use the rear cig. plug) OR grab one of their switches to have an on/off switch wherever you want.

How long is the cable (wire) for the light bar? How long are the wires to the dimmers? Six inches, six feet or? What kind of connector do they use?

I was wondering the same thing. The need a more dependable solution. I’ve been running rechargeable under the counter strips. But, this looks next level.

The 40" Bar has a 40" wire lead off it. And here are the measurements on the 2 switches we sell

So essentially the switches are both about the same in length for wires. There's about a 6" lead coming off each side.

Bare wires.

how would this compare to having a white and a red baja design rocklight mounted on the rear glass wiper motor cover? The focus would be for lighting the ground behind the vehicle when the glass is open, not lighting the trunk area.

Im not sure the 40" light could be mounted to the rear glass area or trim lip like the truck image above (because of sure size of the lightbar and the fact the rear glass is curved).

These are really cool lights (have 2x12") but man...they're a bit of a pita to wire up. Power at the back only lasts 30m after last acc mode, so if you just come into the back it won't work w/o you going up front.
Having my hardtop replaced rn and not sure I'll reinstall, got some inexpensive rechargeable lights on Amazon bc I cannot be bothered to run a wire all the way to the engine bay.
