Well I hate to be so positive but I have a 24 Heritage with 21k and I have never had to take it back to the dealer. I have been offroad many times and I love it so I guess Ford can make a good car. It's also a manual so no auto trans issues. Guess I just got lucky,
Happy Thanksgiving.
Cheers,

Welcome to the land of apologists. Mine is my first and last Ford. Absolutely never again. If my wife didn't like it so much ot it would be gone already. Had a really good offer from carvana back in the spring that I wish I took. That's dropped a lot since then.
6 drop-off/pick up cycles to the dealer, with no loaner, in the first year for us. I'd have to be a total sociopath to think it's all better now and new things won't keep popping up.
Haha I was trained by Ford on my Mustang and 10R80 D to R shift delays with over 25 visits, endless excuses and lies, one rebuild and one new one and finally a custom trans tune that solved it.

Find a new dealer, mine got me GT convertible rentals and Ubers all the time plus I made friends with parts now get 25 off everything.

Compared to my experience with BYD dealer in MX I can say the tariffs competition blockers are desperately needed to protect all these pathetic poor producers stuffed down out throats - just like Soviet Union 1950s to 1990s haha.

As much as we like our Broncos, Ford is not known as a quality manufacturer, regularly falling in the middle of the pack by most metrics. The volume sold may explain some of that but Toyota sells about the same amount in the US per year (2 million-ish) and does not have the same quality issues as Ford. There are hundreds of variables to explain this and this isn't an economics site.

But it should be known going in, a Bronco isn't a 4Runner. I do not expect to get 300k trouble free miles out of my Bronco. Once it gets above 100k, I'll be looking to get something else. There certainly are Fords that go many times longer than that but many won't. I accept that and when Fords do Ford things, or more accurately put, when cars do car things, I will deal with it.

I think there are more good ones than bad and if they can’t solve the issues maybe you can jump into another one.
I think this is right. I have a 21 FE and other than the recalls all of us had, my only issue has been that my TCU crapped out. Got that replaced and oh no, had to drive around for a few months waiting for the part while nobody was able to track my actual Bronco.

I've actually been pleasantly surprised how trouble free mine has been (just screwed myself by saying that).

Hi All!

I bought a new 2025 ford bronco about 6 months ago. It now sits at 5900 miles and these are the list of issues I've had thus far:

1. Brand new - Bronco came with one wrong hard top latch; resulted in me not being able to take my tops off for 6 months until the new part got to the dealership. (yes, I could unscrew the hex bolt)
2. Within the first 1500 miles, my front differential was leaking. Dealer ordered new parts and repaired.
3. I've now noticed I have a subtle coolant leak, engine bay and around the front of the vehicle and wheel wells smells like coolant when engine gets hot or after a drive.
4. Went on my first offroading trip (luckily just for the day) and my fuel gauge is not registering properly. Still reading 100% tank level even after driving around 300 miles and refueling once during this time.
5. vehicle seems to randomly slam into gear when I'm coasting or coming to a stop under 15 mph. Happens even sometimes on start up when I shift out of Park to Drive (after letting the vehicle warm up).

I'm scheduled to go to the dealership next week to have them diagnose.

Any advice? I hate that I'm starting to lose trust in the vehicle.
I have 18.5k miles on my 2024 HE.
I just finished a long road trip from MA to FL and back again.
The ride was the most comfortable of the 5 trucks I've owned (one was a Jeep).
I have gone off-road with it and conquered some challenging trails.
I am thoroughly impressed by Bronco's capabilities with just the stock Sasquatch configuration.
I see no reason for me to make any mods to the drive train or suspension.

In all this, I've had ZERO issues -- not even recalls.
(And I'm grateful because my dealership was a pain to work with when ordering my Bronco.)

My experience is very similar to @nx40yrs, who also has a 2024 two door with manual transmission.
Since you and @VirginiaHeritage both have 2025 HEs, I wonder if Ford did something else to the Heritage Edition on the assembly line besides just adding more doors and AT.
🤔

My 2025 Heritage just finished production. Not sure if I'll get it in 2025 or 2026, but wanted REB. I forget if I ordered extra quirks or not. We'll see...

I hope I never have to apologize for a company I don’t own or work at.
I can say I sold a 2007 freestyle at 260k. A 1995 ranger at 230k. My 23 year old f250 has 170k. None of these had issues. The freestyle developed valve cover gasket leak at 200k. Same as our 2012 Honda did.

My experience with Ford has been they hold up as good as any other manufacturer.
Time will tell, all the electronics in the Bronco and all the other newer cars for that matter has me concerned they will not be as hassle free as cars of past generations.
Ford WTF with the recalls man, get back to Job 1 Quality.

If it makes you feel better, we have both banks of cam phasers go bad on our 2.7 at 1500kms. Now they have to rip apart the engine on a new car. MIC hardtop is already starting to crack, rear defroster fell off, and some cricket sound on the rear somewhere.

All in all still love the car as it's not boring at all and fun to drive. Hopefully the major cam phaser issue won't happen again for a while after it's fixed.

That being said, all new cars are pretty bad compared to cars from a decade ago. Even Toyota has been lacking.

Welcome to the land of apologists.
OOOORRRRR welcome to the land of Bronco enthusiasts that have the ability to see past many easily fixable minor issues to appreciate the excellent, purpose built vehicle that is as a whole. Now am I a little biased having grown up in a Ford town in the Midwest? Well, I have four of them between '02 and '24 model years at the moment and I've very much wanted a Bronco for the last 52 or 53 years. So, apply salt where needed.

@N0madK1ng, give the dealership (or dealerships if you have a bad one) a chance to fix them and make them right. If they do it to your satisfaction and she's steady Eddie beyond those issues, chances are you will love your Bronco. That is provided you understand you have a body on frame truck with removable doors and roof, fairly aggressive OEM AT tires, high clearance suspension, and is built rugged/capable for off roading. Rugged/capable will almost always lead to "less refined". It is not a jelly bean unibody luxury sports car/SUV thing.

If the same or new quality issues keep recurring, dump it. By then you'll know if it's a good fit for you and if the romance deepened with time. Another one will not likely have those issues, or move on to something else better suited to your needs. I hear Toyotas are absolutely flawless. I'll admit that my '06 Tacoma was, but it was also largely unremarkable and a little boring/soulless. Got rid of it for a '10 FORD F-150 Supercab Raptor. Very remarkable, definitely not boring, but also 100% reliable in the time I owned it.

What year? Sounds like you’re talking present tense and I thought that wasn’t a problem anymore.

Sorry to hear all that. It sure Sucks. I had a bunch of crap go wrong with my ‘23 before it even got to 300 miles on the odometer so I feel your frustration.

I truly hope the dealer gets yours sorted out for you!!

Damn that's exhausting. We just shouldn't be dealing with issue after issue on expensive vehicles like this. Everyone says buy a Toyota for reliability but don't they have their bad batch up shit too? Also the new 4Runners look horrible to me unless you drop thousands in aftermarket gear.

Appreciate the input. I just don't want to start getting the panic feeling of going somewhere remote and wondering if the damn thing will get me home safely.. But I guess you can have that fear with literally any brand right? lol

Damn. It's inspiring to hear you and some others remain just as happy and positive through the issues. I hope I can stay on the same course!
