As a bronco raptor owner with 42,000 miles on it the truck is truly amazing. I ordered a wild track and received an option for a golden ticket bronco raptor. It was $13,000 more at the time and I clicked that box, there’s so many different changes from the regular bronco it’s crazy and well worth the money.

The way it handles on the road is unbelievable. There’s hardly any body roll on a truck with 37’s and 14 inches of suspension Travel, its crazy.

I know you mentioned the fender flares, but also put on the list:
All four fenders are different. Also the modular bumper has Ridged lights, stronger tow hitch set up, hubs are different, bolt pattern different/stronger, wheels are different. At the time padded dash was different. Carbon fiber interior option available. True dual exhaust totally different.

Add these to the list of differences ?

You are correct, however, my running boards are stamped “Raptor” - there was a running change in 2024 and they are now all branded “Bronco”.

And, not Ford being cheap, it’s efficient to have the same parts for multiple models with the same tooling.

To provide a contrary opinion, having previously owned three F-150 Raptors when I drove the Braptor I was not impressed. I gave the braptor another try when dealers couldn’t move them and were offering huge discounts. And…still didn’t care for it. Bought another wildtrak instead.

There are disadvantages to some of the differences mentioned-3.0 engine doesn’t have port injectors. Looking forward to when Ford updates that like they did the 2.3 for 2025.

The swaybar disconnect seems to be unreliable, and when it goes you have CEL’s and drive modes don’t work. So far nobody has figured out how to disable it.

Absolutely I agree that it’s the most capable OEM all-around offroader/daily driver one could buy. Just personally-I’m not a fan and would buy another F-150 or Ranger version instead.

Thanks for this. Care to go into why the seats are substantially better? No sarcasm, I just really would like to know. I wish the Raptor had a bit more differences in the interior.

These have grown on me over time. I did not like the way they looked when I first saw them. The body color matched fenders helped the most in getting me to start liking them. If within a year or two there is no bronco hybrid and if the Scout fails to wow me (starting to go in that direction), then I'm probably going for a Raptor.

I must be missing the point... is it because a 3.0l Rapter that gets what... 15 mpg? Is just like a hybrid Bronco or the EV scout...(?)

It’s just the bean counter tax…

yeah I worked there once, the vender that makes all of the cast steps B Raptor, Stroppe and ‘raptor like’ already have the Raptor/ Bronco casting inserts…

If you drop a vehicle pricing like $9,000 the bean counters want product cuts.

Didn't see the OP mention the spare tire reinforcement; extra cool unique taillights; extra extra cool and wide rear spare tire brake light and the extra extra Ludacrisly cool, rear unique mudflaps. Also, optional decals available.

Technically compared to other trims - it is a high speed sway bar disco.

Its low speed, it automatically reconnects above a certain speed. Which I assume is like any other Bronco with the same feature.

Thanks much. I added some of this. I couldn't verify that the hubs or wheel lugs bolt circle are specifically larger nor stronger (the bolt circle is actually smaller). I do suspect the hubs and hub bearings are likely larger and stronger. Some things such as something both cosmetic AND optional (CF interior) I chose to leave out. "Editorial" decisions I suppose...

My understanding is the raptor has a different bolt circle and larger diameter studs. I will check into it tomorrow..

What I meant is that you can leave it engaged and in standby at a higher speed than on the standard (as high as 50mph) - that's why I think they referred to it as high speed disco.

Sway bar disco is definitely different (both have but Raptor one operates at higher speeds) and in earlier models 22-24 the screen and automations/gauges within it are absolutely different.
