Very good post and info. As a new BRaptor owner, I can attest to everything that is said here.
1. Yes, the seats are more comfy. I came out of a badlands Lux package with the leather seats and full electronics on both seats, and the Braptor seats are WAY more comfy. Even my wife agrees. I have the leather/suede upgrade. BTW, I am 6'4 1/2 289.
2. The ride and suspension. I cannot state just how much smoother and composed the BRaptor is on the street. The ride is so much better, and this is one of the reasons I upgraded to the BRaptor.
My Badlands was fully upgraded with suspension, a full Dirt Logic setup, and though it was good, it does not hold a candle to what the BRaptor is.
3. I actually did not know the brakes and rotors were different, but I knew something had to be different because the BRaptor brakes so effortlessly . The brake dive that was on the Badlands does not exist on the BRaptor. At first, I thought it was the shocks, but the stopping power also felt different.
4. Powertrain. Well, it's already known that this would be different. On my Badlands I had CAI, charge pipes, down pipes, Magnaflow exhaust, and the Ford tune. It was fun. On the Braptor I have the CAI, charge pipes, and a Panda Motorsport custom tune. WOW! I will start a different thread on the latter, but yes. It is well worth the squeeze.
Last, it seems that I have more room. Maybe it's just me, but I feel I have more room in the BRaptor when driving. When I drove my BAdlands to be sold, I felt the difference. It just felt things were 'slightly smaller' in the Badlands. Maybe?
Loving the BRAptor. I will be going off-road with it soon, to one of the rides we have up north. Can't wait to put her through the paces. In the end, yes, the Braptor costs more, but as a person who spent good coin upgrading the Badlands to a level it was, it was still behind what the BRaptor is stock. But I knew this, being a GT500 owner.
If you have the coin and you love the Bronco, consider a BRaptor. You will not regret it.
