Curious as to your point and why you’re in this thread. Are you here to set the OP and the rest of us all straight about what to buy?

A clone of the racer sure BUT the Stroppe editions originally sold at Ford dealers were built by Bill Stroppe. Hence the direct connection. Which I simply pointed out is something the 6G version is lacking

I said my piece to the OP early in the thread where I congratulated him, the rest of my posts are simply replying to others, such as yourself, who have commented to me..

As to what to buy , it's a free world for people to lay their cash down as they please. However that doesn't change the fact the current Stroppe is nothing special being sold at a higher price.

No, the original Stroppes were not built by Stroppe. The original Stroppes were built by Ford and subsequently modified by Stroppe. The G6 Stroppe is built by Ford and some mods done by Penske. Both of these versions are tributes to the Stroppe racing heritage. Kind of you to dump on the OP’s new vehicle thread and let everyone know what values vehicles have though.

I still believe they got the color scheme all wrong, the 1st bronco to Win was the "Big Oly" and had a totally different paint job...Stroppe was just the builder/ co-Driver... Parnelli Jones won the race.

Since you asked, ill give you my reply as to why this edition is "Special". It is the last 2dr with a V-6. That is one of the reasons I traded in my 2022 v-6 OBX SaS 2dr. I wanted the last version of V-6 2dr.

Now, was it special enough as is? No, I put a Warn winch on the front, ordered 2 different front bush guards for the bumper because I didn't like the first one. Picked up 6 Diode dynamic lights for the bumpers, 2 Rigid lights for the cowl top. New set of wheels and tires. Truck is going in to the body shop to fix the bad tail gate flat black design... paint up that brush guard in code Orange along with a wind deflector for the hood, which I'm having de wrapped and sprayed black (the hood). Tire cover for the rear is also on the truck. Put an MRT exhaust on it. ill see if it is special enough for me after the spray booth. May choose to modify it further, we will see.

Oh, and I have wheeled it. Which makes it even more Special to me.
