The F-150 steering rack is completely different and the steering input/output shafts are in a different location as well

did not realize... never owned an F150

Worked on a few back in the 80s.... Lot of good that does.

Well, the 6 cyl computer has different firmware so I bought a used Raptor R PCM. Been working on making sure everything is going to fit correctly, lots of test fitting ...( I hate doing things twice) Yesterday, I made new mounts for the supercharger water-to- air cooler. Installed it directly under the radiator, at an angle for clearance. And had to test fit the radiator support with the radiator and AC cooler installed... then pull everything off and paint the new mounts.

Finally the alternator has been shipped, they've been on backorder for months.
Also waiting on the Ranger Raptor E-shifter.

Finishing up the engine mounts today.
Transfer case mount tomorrow.

The 5.2 actually fits very well!

heres the engine mounts all bolted in...

Got the Innercooler pump and tank mounted. and also heres pics of the "new" lower water-air innercooler mounts. and tranny adapter plate. The adapter plate has 3 original holes that line up ( these bolts go thru all 3 parts), 3 holes on tranny needed countersunk with flush head bolts, and the other 3 tapped into the spacer plate. The plate material is 4150 FM for the metallurgy nerds out there, basically it's a through-hardened alloy that withstands 145,000PSI.

Lastly, the added benefit of clocking the T-Case 5° to get 3 of the 9 bolts to line up perfectly, is the extra ground clearance!!! The bottom of Tcase now sits sits almost an inch above bottom of frame! Of course I'll be fabricating new crossmember mounts up 2 in higher, completely eliminating the low slung OEM crossmember. The end result will be a flat skid plate mounted against the frame rails with 2" more clearance than OEM.

Finishing up wiring today...Only had to add one pin to the Broncos Body-PCM connector plug...pin #79 for the 2nd fuel pump trigger.

Additionally, on the F150 transmission harness, need to tap into two wires and connect them to the Broncos Can network.

On 5.2 engine harness, I still need to tap into the innercooler coolant pump wires and IC temp-sensor-switch wires, and extend them to the IC pump and IC temp sensor. waiting on OEM plugs to arrive.

Total of 8 (9) wires need added/modified/extended. no worse than a stereo/speaker install!!!‍

edit, also one more wire for the charge air cooler fans.

I re-pinned a few electrical connectors, this is the correct way to do wiring...splices are for lazy folks.

Also got the Ranger Raptor E-Shifter installed. had to use the Bronco shift boot, so that took some disassembley/reassembly...

hers a few more pics...pulled connectors apart to get the correct pre pinned wires ...quite a rats nest of F150 wire harness! swapped put OEM trans cooler for Mishimoto unit.

omg the wiring looks like a nightmare.
Did you relocate the radiator back to the original position and add the mishimoto oilcooler?
