Nice! My recommendation is to find a nice stretch of street and dirt that represents what you like to run and dial in all the settings for each terrain. That way you have a rough “go to” setting on all the goals for both street and dirt. It’s a lot of knobs to adjust!
It sure is. I have a tiny notebook for that very thing! :)

We should start a thread with suggestions, setting etc. I took mine to Baja a few weeks ago and made some subtle tweaks to the standard starting points.

I will say I have 37s which made it more interesting.

The finally got the 8112's installed this past weekend.

First, I can definately see the increased lift. I went 1.4" in the front and 0.8" in the rear.

While I would not call the ride "cloud like", it does make a difference. Aired up, it felt more controlled and smoother on the streets with less brake dive, but offroad, it was still somewhat harsh in some sections, although noticeably improved.

Aired down, I ran the trails much faster than I would normally do and intentionally hit as many potholes as I could find, tried some heavily rocked roads, and tested some washouts and ditches for articulation. My first impressions are that the suspension feels like its glued more to the surface, smoothes out the rough edges, but seems to articulate about the same as stock. I was able to hussle down a rocked road much faster and still felt easily in control. It was sometimes comical to run over certain sections that I would have cringed at before... now it was pillowy. My only minor gripe is that I did hear the slight clanking noise from the JCO only under the most edged deep impacts, but not from milder ones.

I have no doubt that I will do more test and tune in the coming months.

Not sure if you saw this thread or not but here’s some settings to try. I can attest each knob and click is very noticeable.

8112 Settings. The chart represents what I run on the road. These also will get more compliments and soft after they break in is what I experienced.

Good stuff. Thanks. I will no doubt be doing some more tests.

BTW... have you noticed this... my LSC have 22 clicks. The lowest one (-) is not really a click but a squish, so I count the first one that clicks as (+1).

Also, I can hear the JCO "clacking" sometimes with the window down when I hit the large holes, but otherwise its quiet.

We "the SEGEN6 group" have a Windrock Event Nov 7-9th. I'll be there.

I have to show @Gene Dios artwork for the event, as its my 8112 equipped Bronco.

For those that are currently running the 8112's, have or are you experiencing the clacking noise from the shocks (particularly in the front) when they move through a long stroke such as over a speedbump?

Recently Yes, but I'm post Baja trip and several off roading trips since installing, so it could be anything.m. However I do seem to be getting a noise specifically over speed bumps. I have to diagnose it a bit more this weekend.

I watched the Shock Surplus video where Bowman mentioned that he didn't hear the noise when testing these. I have also read that the nitrogen fill could be low. Also odd that the noise is only from the front shocks and not the rears on mine. It's not an issue with the windows up in the cab, but fairly loud with the windows down on the trails. Having said all that, the performance is there.

When we did the video, we had the noise. We were told it was the internal bumps/JCO’s? I forget exactly what. It’s normal we were told and it’s part of the internals working. I found it similar to external bump stop noises
