You honestly think your kids never did anything wrong, never got in trouble or never disobeyed you ever? They were perfect angels 24/7? Get real. Here is where you are missing the point.... THE PARENTS should be telling the kid not to touch the vehicle!! The car owner should not have to say a damn thing. My kids learned early on.... very early on.... You do not go to the museum and touch things unless there is a sign saying this is okay to touch..... Cars at car shows are typically works of art.... thousands of hours go into them and I sure do not want some kid leaning over and scratching the paint with the button on his trousers. THE PROBLEM is the PARENTS not the kid.
You seem to be the Karen here. You think kids do not have to learn respect for others property.... awe it is all good intensions and well kids have to learn.... Frick YEA... BE THE PARENT!
How do you know what parents do or don't teach their children?
Sure, if the parents are a-holes then it's obvious. Maybe kids are just kids and they get excited over a shiny car or big truck and all sense goes out the window. They're children for crying out loud.
