Just a little drive up in the mountains, off Interstate 90 near Snoqualmie again, and tooling around some recent and future logging roads.

A lesson I've learned: taking a turnoff from a newly graded road through a forestry gate usually puts on onto a road that is not well maintained. More fun.

My deer hunting turned into a leaf look/moose spotting trip. The bucks were little fork horns that laid around watching me watch them​

Flat tow update: it took probably 10 tries to get ought of flat tow, finally worked​

We had to drive to Nashville from Knoxville in my soft top today, so I layered two moving blankets between my Bimini and soft top for sound deadening. It was SO much quieter! I’ll do this from now on for cool and winter months. It’s a cheap fix for ragtop road noise. My B&O sound system also sounded 100% better with it.

Work in progress, got Bilstein 8112’s installed in the rear, still need to do front next week or so.

Today, had Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T and Method 709 HD mounted. Pics don’t show final final as I was still mounting the impact rings but overall very happy!

Went down Hwy1 from sf to Big Sur.
Not much (or any) trails around the Bay Area. Hit on Coast Rd just before Bixby Bridge. A good 10 mile stretch (put the difficulty at like a 2, more of a “sometimes uneven” dirt road and less of a rocky trail) that takes you up and down the Mescal Ridge, high points you can see through the mountains to hwy1 and the coast, low points takes you through a dense, serene redwood forest.

Day Road Trip to Sturgis, SD for the 2nd Annual Bronco Rally. Good time had. You should make a plan for next year to attend 3rd Rally. It's in the Black Hills of South Dakota where there's some of the greats rock crawling trails.

Well it's been a minute but got something done with the bronco.
Ordered the Texas custom interior steering wheel cover. And installed it today, was to bad of a install 4 out of 10 for difficulty and 8 out of 10 for install the hardest part was tucking the extra parts under the trim. I kind of messed up on the center stripe got a little bit crooked when I was sewing it up. Overall I rate it a 8 more because of my mistakes.

Put some Bro-Flaps, simple installation, they seam effective, inexpensive cost versus other mud flaps on the market.

Re-wired my Key 200.4 to bi-amp. Changed the harness to send head unit power to the rear speakers for fill only. Props to the people at Rad Bronco Parts. They actually used the same color coding on both the in and out of the harness making it easy to change. Retuned the DSP and the extra 100 watts to the kicks is an enormous difference. Now I seriously need to update weak sub.​
