Daughter, best friend and partner in taking out the Bronco has gone off to college. What did I do today? Looked down at the passenger floor and seat wondering who will ever get the passenger side dirty again. Sure she will ride shotgun or drive again. But ya that’s what went through my mind driving it today. Video is a retake I made her do so I could video it.

This post hit home, my son left in 2020 for college and is now living a few states away. My trusty fishing partner. I think those same thoughts you mentioned every time I walk past the dusty unused canoe hanging in the garage.

I figure having those reflections of past experiences as a parent just reinforces the fact that you did okay as a parent.

Made it over the Pearl Pass from Aspen to Crested Butte. Attempted but turned around in 2022 when stock. Made it thru but 'needed' 11 psi and traction boards. Hail storm brought rainbows and a bit of fear. But soil isn't too muddy and basically no snow.
