The fact that I will never fully trust it again. Total brake failure at 1300 miles. It's been three years and I still wince a little bit every time I touch the brake pedal, praying there will be pedal pressure.

I’m confident everyone on this forum is hoping (and reassuring themselves) that this was a rare fluke. I sure as hell am. Jesus, dude.

A sudden no-brakes situation at high speed has got to rank up there with oil spraying all over my windscreen on a departure climb out of Merrill Field, AK in a rented Cessna. Glad that shit happened when I was young (and my heart was young).

Gives me chills imagining a brake failure if my wife was driving the Bronco.

2-Door's really should have power seats available. My Bronco stickered over $78k CAD that's a lot of money for manual adjusting seats. Also as someone mentioned the location of the parking brake is not ideal. Would have been nice to have it on the console somewhere as it's kind of tucked away.
If they had power seats, people would be complaining about waiting for them to move to get into the back.

I love my Bronco. I enjoy this car more than any car I've ever owned. Its not even close.

Here is what I hate about it:
  • Frameless windows are garbage. They constantly need to be relearned. They constantly rattle. They have to be all the way up or all the way down. Can't crack the window unless I want to wobble and rattle like it's about to fall off. Yes - I've taken it to the dealer.
  • Overall reliability hasn't been awesome. Had the engine pulled to replace cam phasers at 20,000 miles. My vehicle has/had most of the recalls. Currently sitting at 5.
  • Ford customer service (direct from the Ford CRC and not my dealer) is feckless and unhelpful.
My extended service plan goes till 2029, and I want to hold on to the vehicle till the warranty is up. I will buy another Bronco so long as they go back to full window frames, and they can fix all my recalls before 2029. They quote "fall of this year." But I have zero faith in that.
Damn, I haven't had any window or reliability issues yet.
And they won't be getting window frames, that is one of their selling points.

I had a 2005 Tahoe bought brand new. In less than 6 months it had total intermittent brake failure, one time a pedestrian leaped to get outta the way!
Chevy could not duplicate it so I ended up meeting the area rep.
I handed him the keys, said drive your family around for the weekend…. If you come back and tell me it’s ok, I’ll gone. He declined, I may or may not have called him a pansy, drove straight to carmax and took a $25k loss.
Never ever a GM for me

I'm old grouchy and potentially stinky and no one checks mine out anymore either.

But @EvilJim1971 is feigning modesty, his Bronco shouts 'Come Look at Me' and deservedly so.
It is a very polarizing look, a love it or hate it thing.
So far most people love it.
We sit in restaurants and watch people walk up and take pictures.
It looks like that because my wife and I are EB fans and LOVE the old Stroppe broncos... And I can't afford the real thing.
When Ford brought theirs out, I was disappointed... Then I saw where they dropped the ball in paying homage to the look of the originals.
I do honestly love interacting with the random people who come up to talk with us about it and check it out.

Hmmm, nobody has approached me or talked with me about mine in the 3 or 4 months I've had it.
Do I look grouchy? Do I need a shower?.... really, I'm a nice guy. 🍻 (usually).
Mine begs, possibly screams, for attention.
It's stumpy and multicolored... Kind of looks like a full sized Hot Wheels.
Or maybe clown car as some have said.

I don't hate anything about my nor frills base as it gets Bronco. Did get a crack in the windshield today though (1st since purchase). Coming home from visiting my mom running about 45mph on a county road and heard something hit the windshield. Didn't see it but most likely came from the loaded dump truck several cars in front of me. Hit the very top of the glass near the roofline and created a 7" crack. Factory glass being installed tomorrow. Zero cost to me thanks to Geico.

no, no tint on the windsheild. but i do have it on all others.
i just don't hear any problems from other owners?
If the ambient light sensor detects a darker cabin, it presumes it is night so the infotainment will change to the darker mode. The side windows shouldn't be enough to trigger the change with the windshield not tinted.

Might be worthwhile to mention the behavior to the dealer presuming you are still under warranty. Of course, they might just blame the behavior on the tint and not the sensor itself.

Hate my Bronco?

Nah.

I do sometimes miss my race red base squatch, though. Of course, if I hadn't totaled it I'd be dealing with the faulty Bilsteins, so maybe it's for the best?

Any recommendations on how to approach my dealer to address these issues?
As others have referenced, you have to go in and complain about it - since it's not a safety recall they won't come asking you if you need it. You may also have to show that your window does rattle. Be ready to tell them to reference SSM 53981. As long as you are inside the warranty period, and you don't get the "Cannot replicate" or "Well, all Broncos do this, it's just a Bronco thing" excuse from the dealer, you should get them covered.

Firs, I didn't even know Bronco's were available with rain sensing wipers, mine doesn't have them.
The big Broncos do not in any trim level, but the Bronco Sport, for all it's inferiority, does.

I do not like the lack of memory seats at the price I paid-but it is a good excuse to not let anyone else drive it.
I don't have power seats, but yeah, for those that do, this is one of those oversights that just makes me scratch my head. It really wouldn't have cost them anything extra to implement - it's just a software thing.

Same thing happened to me less than 2 months in. Mine was over the seal too. Geico cut me a check.

Take ‘before’ pictures of everything. Check the trim in front of the windshield carefully after install before opening the hood. Mine was misaligned and I didn’t notice until I got home. Fixed it myself. Probably would have cracked if I’d opened the hood.

This should NOT be overlapped:

I do hate that I have to spend another $300 for the ceramic tint on the windshield but it’s worth it.
