If I would have a phone (or a camera!) to take pics with, I would do this today. A 5gal bucket with some nice mud in it (a fair amount of horse shit too just for a good measure) and throw it on the Bronc just before I wash/wax it. Maybe that would get me some creed on this board? Hell,.....I have plenty of boulders on my property too,.......I could take one of those pics that show one rear wheel "hanging by the thread"........hmmm. Maybe I should get another phone? Nahh....maybe not.
I wouldn't worry too much about cred. Different strokes and all.

As far as camping, even after my Army time, I kind of enjoy it. I don't have stand to at oh dark thirty, I can cook for myself, even have hot coffee if I want, not some powdered stuff in a canteen cup, I can bring the wife and dog along with me. And being allergic to pork, I know I'm not going to get a "pork with rice in dog farts" MRE thrown at me. Nobody will trade for that crap.

That said, I'm cool with it not being your thing, too. I mean, the title of the thread is a little click baity, so I think a lot of people, me included, posted photos about not mall crawling, but it's all in good fun.

Even, when I go to Super Celebration in CO, there are trail rides, there are pavement rides, rides for all manner of Bronco drivers/lovers. It's all good! And we all have fun. Shoot, I even go on the pavement rides, some of them are pretty cool.

Here's a whole mess of Broncos on the Royal Gorge Bridge - that was pretty fun, too!

So, the real question is, "Do you like your Bronco and does it do what you need it to?"

Oh, I fully agree with you. For 25 years I was following stupid orders, and had to pass them down, knowing how stupid/dangerous they are. I was born a loner I guess, and for those 25 years I was forced to be a "team player", and I coped with it. Now that I am free, I don't want to follow ANYONE, and I don't want anyone to follow me. I ride my horses alone (only wife with me sometimes, and my dogs). I ride my bike alone also. I don't belong to any "groups", "clubs", or any social circles. I immerse myself in decadent luxury whenever I can, because my old and battered body earned it. When I ride far out, I don't have a problem spending a night under the stars, but I don't have to talk about it with anyone, "discuss it", or come to an "agreement". I do what I want to do when I want to do it. Don't answer to anyone (been doing that for far too long).
Another thing is,.......I don't like people much. My experiences in this world made me VERY disappointed in humans. I prefer company of the animals and taking care of them.

There are definitely a lot of beautiful paved roads in Colorado with beautiful scenery. We have always been a road-trip couple. That is our best quality time together whether we’re in the motorhome or in something that’s topless on or off-road. When we met, I had a Z1 900, decided we liked staying alive too much and we’ve had convertibles pretty much ever since. Our friends all got side-by-sides and so did we and we did a lot of of serious rock crawling for a while and eventually swapped to Jeeps and I have the Loan bronco in our group. I still have my side-by-side on portals, though I should go ahead and sell it probably.

This resonated with me, especially the animals. Animals are almost always better company than people.

I waited about 4 days after buying our 21 in November 2021 before going off-roading.

Then a month later went to Moab.

Then how it looks now with 2.5" lift and 37s.

I go to Moab more often than any mall.

Two pictures a month after purchase are off roading adventure. But the first one is not fooling anyone. This road you're on is just like my driveway that also has few bigger "pebbles" sticking out like that. C'mon.....nice flat road, and you park one wheel on the only rock sticking out.....tsk,tsk.....I understand "baby steps" and all...but still.

Just teasing you.

I've got one that says, "Stay away! I'm a grumpy old man that won't fight with you, but I pack a big iron!" There is a picture of a 4" Peacemaker under that proclamation. SAA 1875 is usually on my hip when I'm on the horseback.

Now that's a serious off roading! I hope you backed off of that thing nicely?
