Want to mount a circuit breaker here with a couple self-tapping screws. Anything behind that might be expensive or necessary?

To be clear, that’s the drivers side inner fender support, aft of the fuse box.

Thanks!

If you can wait until to night I can snap a shot of what I did and where it mounts. No holes needed. This is the fuse holder mount. It uses factory locations I will snap a shot of tonight.

That is a nice bracket. Did you make it or find it somewhere?

I did just that for a resettable breaker for my charge wire from the RV to the battery. You'll need a right angle drill as the space is a little tight. Put a piece of masking tape down where you want the hole, and tape some newspaper below it to catch any shavings. I'm paranoid and touched up the finished hole with some paint before putting in the holding metal self tapping bolt.

I see a couple of spot welds there. Make sure you don't drill through them.

I'd use nutserts if I were to driill holes there. But VHB tape is a better idea. But not the stuff they sell in big box stores. Use 3M VHB 5952 or even better 3M GPH-110GF if it will be exposed to heat. The location you picked is pretty well protected, so the 5952 should work and it's the cheaper of the two.

Make sure you wipe the area with isopropyl alcohol.
