Just got back from TN Offroadeo this past weekend. It was fantastic. Great location, beautiful area in the foothills of the Smokeys. Ford rents 1000 acres on a farm with what seems to be dozens of trails that demonstrate the capability of the Bronco.

I don’t know if the agenda has changed a little over time, but we had a single call time at 8:00, but 3 different groups that went out about 20 minutes apart. Each group had 6-7 Broncos. After a brief intro in the lodge, we had some show and tell on the training course before each group rolled out. We left the lodge in the last group at around 10:00. Motored up, down and all around for a couple hours. There was a fair amount of rain recently and it’s TN, so there was water and mud everywhere. Got back for lunch around 1:00. Headed back out for round 2 at around 2:00 and stayed out until 5:00.

We didn’t stay for dinner, but it looked pretty good. Good lunch. The team was super friendly and very well experienced. It all exceeded my expectations and pretty well blew my wife away. It was fun to see some of what a stock Bronco can do.

I am going to TN one on the 14th of March, I am hoping it is worth the 4 hour drive there. They just sent me an email with a packing list and the itinerary. I am not staying at one of their recommended hotels as I am not a millionaire and the place I am at seems to be pretty close by to where this is located.

You will start the day inside the building with initial orientation and then move outside and everyone will find a bronco to drive. My advice is to position yourself near the exit so you can get outside first and therefore pick the bronco that you want.

To me it was well worth the drive - just about four hours for me from the Atlanta area. Had a blast, highly recommend.

Just curious what the general schedule is for the day, IE does it start at 8am? 10am? When does it end? It says there is a campfire but wasn't sure if that is at night or what. Just trying to plan a July trip with a buddy of mine and couldn't really find a good answer in previous threads. Thanks!
Once the large group is split into 2-3 smaller groups your guide will point you to a group of 5-7 Broncos, that is when you get to pick what you will drive. I chose to have the guide ride with me so got to hit the trail first--we got a 4dr but there were four 2drs of the 6 in our group.

I just got back, was well worth it just to learn the terminology, finally use all the buttons and see how they work in action. They seem to make out in that little merch section like bandits, lol.

It was mentioned in another thread how the merchandise was lacking in typical adult sizes. Plenty of smalls and XXL. It really is a failure on behalf of the Off-Roadeo organizers to not have the retail fully stocked everyday.

As you alluded to, they have a captive and willing buyer. When I attended, there were 3 groups of 8-10 people each. Even if there is only 10 people total (not multiple groups) and each person generates $100 in retail sales (really easy to do and more likely they surpass that $100 threshold), that is $1000 in sales/day. Retail shops with that size of a footprint would kill to have that minimum. The base camp lodge is huge. There is plenty of space to store overstock and restock the store each night.

I think they have that problem solved, they had plenty of every size and even had said that if you didnt see your size out for some strange reason that they had more in the back in all sizes. I did like that the T-shirts were specific to the TN location, there sure were people spending like crazy though, they were all pretty cool. They had mentioned this location has only been open since October of 24, so once again the supply train has probably been fully turned on now

Good to hear. Each BOR site has gear specific to the location. Bronco Nation now carries some of the other locale's merchandise. But TN is still not available online at Bronco Nation.

Next time I'm up in the Townsend area, I'll swing by to see what I can add. When I went, it was the second full week they were open. I did treat my guest to a shopping spree as there was no shortage of fun size shirts. I think I was hit up for $400 so it was a good thing that they were out of stock on my size shirts.

I attended the TX Off-Roadeo back in August of ‘24. Was great and learned a lot about my Badlands Sasquatch. As far as the merch is concerned it’s on the employees to make sure it’s stocked. I’m a 3x and they had very little in my size but I asked and they went to the stock room and brought out anything they had. Went home with 2 shirts, 2 caps, stickers, patches, etc. spent some Yankee dollars!

My criticism of the t-shirts is the quality. They are very thin material and do not last.

I'm looking forward to my TN Off Rodeo on May 9. Does anyone know how long to allow for the drive from Townsend to the site?

we have done Moab and TN, while Moab is stunning and the off-roading was fun rock crawling, TN was an absolute blast with all sorts of different terrain.
