Was the 2 door at the Texas Off-Rodeo manual or automatic?
I would be surprised if any of the Off Roadeo Broncos, at any of the sites have manual transmissions.

Somebody please prove me wrong. ;)
While I've never been to BOR I've always read and heard that all of the vehicles are auto, no manuals.
Originally they had a few manuals, but they had so many problems with them they don't anymore. I remember reading about issues with the clutches and flywheels. I would imagine due to unexperienced operators.

One of the reasons I went early, before I bought my Bronco. Remember, in the early days you could go to the Off-Roadeo before you had a Bronco if you had a confirmed (by your dealer) order AND paid a refundable deposit (in case you didn't end up buying your Bronco). I thought the manual was great, no issues. Combination of crawler gear and 4L when needed made it easy. I would have hated to go to the Off-Roadeo and not had a chance to try the Bronco I wanted.

So they DO have manuals?

So they DO have manuals?
I don't know if they DO. But they DID. That was when they only had the Austin site, none of the others. In general, I wasn't sure if Ford was going to follow through and keep offering the Off-Roadeos long term or if they would keep doing them as well, no matter what they said. So I just took the bird in hand. Turns out that they have kept offering them, and expanded the program--from the first one, to the next planned three, and now a fifth site. Still high quality from what I hear. But if the manuals are gone, I glad I went when I did.

Worth nothing: I didn't get a manual on the first day. At the end of the first day I politely asked if I could get a manual on the second day, and they obliged. Sounded like they had a small fleet and they just had to find one of the few manuals and make sure it was available for my second day. Not sure they can do that anymore.
