Yes, obviously assuming they’re working correctly.
Don’t think mine has ever failed to lower.

I don’t understand how this window dropping feature seems to be an issue with the Broncos. Does has been offering this feature for years on Mustangs.

I have a 2016 Roush Mustang convertible and the feature has worked flawlessly. Prior to that a 2011 GT/CS convertible and prior to that a 2006 Mustang convertible and it worked flawlessly on those as well.

Why is this an issue with the Broncos?

I think a lot of it just has to do with poor window alignment.
I’ve never had any issues with mine, but I know a lot of people have.

There’s also nothing in common between the Mustang and Bronco obviously, other than the fact that they should operate similarly

Another thread that could have been helpful to Bronco owners until @Ducati1098 came along and made everything authoritatively clear as mud.

😂 still salty you don’t understand 4A I see.
Go cry somewhere else bud.
Feel free to return once you’ve contributed a single thing to the Bronco community 😉

I understand that there is nothing in common between the two models, but my point is that the concept of the window drop feature isn’t something new.

I too haven’t had an issue, but my Bronco is only two months old.

I will share something though that may pertain here as well.

I have a Cadillac CTS-V coupe that also has the window drop feature.

Those car are prone to the same issue over time. The solution is to apply some lubricant to the door latch. Apparently the latch doesn’t retract/release all the way which either causes the window to not drop or it pops back up right away.

Just offering it as a possible solution.

If misleading people is the goal, you’re doing a bang up job lately. I can’t deny you’ve been helpful but this thread and your work on the 4A thread are not stellar.

Coming from someone with zero expertise on the topics doesn’t mean much, but thanks for your opinion I guess 🤷‍♂️

Literally all I did was post information supplied by Ford. If that’s misleading, you’re blaming the wrong person 😉

I have to disagree with you. We're lucky to have Ducati1098 on this forum, he has provided a lot of help on many issues.

This feature will drop the windows when you press the unlock button on the fob, or the unlock button inside the vehicle also.
Not all Broncos do that. Lots of threads on how this feature works floating around from when Ford first tried to make it work.
I have an early 23 and mine doesn’t do it. It won’t stop the windows if I is the fob.

It’s not supposed to. The original release of this feature was in July of 2023.
Then it had a bunch of issues so ford removed it from some vehicles that had it.

Both my Hummer and Bronco have frameless windows that drop when opening. Difference is, the Hummer is so smooth, quick and sturdy. The bronco is sloppy by comparison. The window does not feel as securely attached and wobbles as the door opens. None of that with the Hummer windows.
