@DMSCS FP dudes can straighten you out. This happens a lot. I've seen it with 4 out 4 installs I including mine.

The product info says it is compatible with all 2 door models, but we'll see if Ford performance is able to help me get this resolved. If not I'll go down the FDRS route
My bad, I misspoke. Don’t realize you had the 2 door. The non-SAS exclusion is specific to 4 doors.

They were able to get me to sorted out.

For anyone with the same problem as me (i.e missing asbuilt on procal), their explanation was basically that the Ford Performance Tune was created before the Rack Upgrade and doesn't save the As Built Data. The Ford Performance engineer was able to take over my computer and force copy the As Built Data into the procal tool. After that the rack upgrade ran without an issue.

Quick question for those that have done this install….. I’m having my rack upgraded in a week or so (fords doing the install). I’m currently running the Fabtech Dirt Logics and the Fabtech HD tie rods. I’d like to keep the Fabtech HD tie rods when Ford does the install. Is there a reason I shouldn’t keep them and will the ford techs want to use the ford tie rods? Which way should I go with this? I’m planning on 37s when my GYs wear out.
Thanks for any ideas

Question, I did the Procal performance tune installation around Christmas of '24 on my ’22, 2-dr WT. I swear somewhere in the process of doing the Procal setup/tune download/tune installation I was prompted in the process to enter what steering rack I had on the truck. Is that a newer feature to maybe resolve the Procal rack problems, or has the Procal performance tune always done that and my success is a craps shoot? I've got the rack on hand and the rack software downloaded to the Procal, but all the talk of Procal issues have made me gun shy about the actual installation.

Hmm not sure. Early 2024 they added support for swapping FDUs and it would ask which FDU you had - but if they have added the steering rack since thats new to me.

Steering Rack has its own download code, similar to the tune - whereas the FDU swap doesnt require an additional code.

Prepare for the crap shoot if you decide to try the ProCal install. Emphasis on crap.

My WT was built 12/21. Would they have been offering the the original buyer the option to upgrade to the Hoss 3.0 and Severe Duty rack options at that point in production? I'm not sure when the VIN was issued. I'd think if anyone could have success, I might be in good position considering it is a WT, a 2-door '22 (vs a '21 that might be pre-rack offering) and a relatively recent performance tune download/install.

Not sure when the rack became an option but the Fox suspension was a mid year change in 22.

Someone like @Ducati1098 could run your VIN and give you more detail about your specific rig. He helped me out with a build date on my Badlands and a parking sensor thing where they changed mid year.

Rack became an option at the same time as the Hoss 3.0 package and Fox shocks.
It wasn’t an option or orderable until mid 2022 for the WT, and was standard every year after.

My bronco is at the dealer right now. They installed the new rack but didn’t read the original before they removed it. Tried to program it but don’t have the Procal tool to complete it. Is the Procal something they should have or do I need to buy that also? They’re telling me I need to buy it for them to complete the install? I kind of figured this would be a mess😜

A Ford dealer shop should be able to walk you through before getting to that point

Thanks for the info. They ordered the Pro cal but it’ll be 7-10 days before it comes in. Kind of surprised that they started without it. They’re saying they’ll have to reinstall the original to read rack before removing it again. Bronco will be living at the dealer for a couple weeks.

Dealer should have known better. Sure, you have to buy the ProCal using them but they shouldn’t have started without it which only wastes your time and theirs. And probably increasing your install costs. Not to mention the lack of confidence it sends.

Hope this gets better for you.
