Adding lights to the mod bumper is not for the faint of heart. Or the poors…I sat online and spent an inordinate amount of time trying to comprehend how adding fog lights to my mod bumper is going to cost a THOUSAND ****ING DOLLARS. Guess I’m just staying stock forever.
That does seem to be the case. I’ll still do it, but I won’t be happy about itAdding lights to the mod bumper is not for the faint of heart. Or the poors…![]()

Can you take a top down and side angle picture? Curious how much clearance there is between the bar and the winch to see if it'll fit around the HF apexAdded the Rough Country High Winch mount, Smittybilt winch and Turn Offroad bull bar. Happy with the install and hoping I don't have to use the winch on a self recovery!
A few learning things at least for me...
First long day started with a lot of modification. First up with the SuperWinch control box relocation. Works great but had to drill out bolt pattern for Smittybilt control box and ended up having to chop some of the bracket arm off with a chop saw to let the box set flat.

No pictures, but added the LoD Black-O.P. Front Bumper Frame Tie In Brackets. Turns out that you have to cut off the "ears" off the bottom of the frame brackets. They don't fit with the skid plate on the Badlands.
Added the power relay and tied that in to Aux 4 to control power to the wince.

Finished the install with the Turn Offroad Bull Bar. This replaced a DV8 bull bar that would not work with the Rough Country mount.

Happy with the install and now ready to head out on the Joshua Tree, Yosemite, Death Valley, Southern Utah trip in April.
That is awesome. I need one of those.Assembled the EZ 4x4 hard top lift and put it to good use. Very well constructed and pretty simple to operate.

I know it’s not a unique product, but pleasantly surprised at its sturdiness. Not as simple to operate as the TopLift, but this cost a few hundred less, is much more compact when not in use, and seems to tuck in a bit closer to the front end/hood when in use. That is awesome. I need one of those.
If you have an engine hoist it can be used to remove the top. Found this post on the 6G FB site. That is awesome. I need one of those.

I found it a while ago and saved it so I can use it to build mine and save myself a grand.I've been thinking about doing this very thing with my engine hoist! Thanks for the example.
You don't need lockers especially the front for such a hill climb. That front locker has it's own caveats. It should be used sparingly and only when needed.I went out in the desert and played King of The Hill on this 75 ft tall one where it looks like a lot of folks play. Put the truck in 4L and engaged the front and rear lockers. The V6 climbed right up the 21 degree slope like it was child's play...LOL.
