Installed the @Mountains2Metal gate limiter…….
IMG_1524.jpeg

so I could join the overland poser club.
IMG_1525.jpeg

loving the quality of @Mountains2Metal stuff.
I need more tie down points in the bed. What’s everybody using to add tie down points.
Believe it or not I use my gas can all the time. I have a 2 door so I already have a smaller tank, so an extra 2 gallons makes a difference.

It's not more tie down points, but I have this storage box stuffed with a lot of recovery stuff, tools, etc. and use a ratchet strap to tie it down. Frees up a little space and everything is secure in case of any accidents.
I used the extra strap to kinda hold the chairs in place, haha.

Removed my black plastic crappy dealer advertisement license plate frame and added on a nice matte black one I grabbed from Amazon.com. Waiting on my custom plate from Arizona (which apparently usually takes 4 to 8 weeks).

Also added the Trail Rax reinforcement brackets (snagged them at 15% off during their President's Day sale). I'm not running a RTT, but without the additional body bracing of the Pak Rax, I figured I was probably better off doing this as my rack load could push towards 100 pounds at times with a loaded roof box. Too many stories of this part of the rack shearing and failing and would rather not join the club (since it would almost certainly break on a trip). It's a nice part, but I did feel like they were marked up a bit considering each bracket was still over $80 on sale technically. I'd also wonder if this should be part of the base rack in the first place given the apparent design weakness (even if it added ~$100 to the cost).

Finally joined the 37 inch club. Got some Fuel Rebel rims and Fury Hunter Country R/T's installed today. Also had the RC reinforcement and relocate added for extra support.
Still dialing in the speedo, set it initially at 565, 2 MPH over (per GPS) when going above 50.

Testing 'em out tomorrow at Bridgeport. :)

Looks great Rob! I set my diameter to 2775 and works great up to 100mph!

M2M Attic Shelf installed, which rocks. I was able to move a lot of my recovery gear up there. I installed a 1/8” rubber washer and then a 1/8” thick nylon washer at the top pivot of both sides to eliminate any rattles (suggested in another thread) and help center. I also used heat shrink on the rear latch pins. It’s as silent as can be, even more so than when I had all the gear bungeed to the back of the rear seats.

Hopefully it’ll still work with my Armadillo HT getting installed this next week, but they thought it should…

Total time to install? And did you remove the MIC top to do it? My attic shelf arrived this morning (on a Sunday) and I was going to do it today if it it doesn't take too much time, otherwise it will be in a couple of weeks due to lots of work travel...

p.s. where did you get the nylon and rubber washers? Home Depot?

You
Assembled the EZ 4x4 hard top lift and put it to good use. Very well constructed and pretty simple to operate.

You can do in. 30 min, but took about an hour since I had to mount it to see which size washers I needed to use and then remount. Also time in there for the added 1/2” heat shrink to the latch pins. Stuff like these hard to find washers I always go to Ace Hardware, which I got 3 different sizes ahead of time guesstimating. I slo added a thinner 3/16” rubber washer on the inside of the latch pin, before doing the heat shrink, but it’s not needed. The basket sides will not come in contact there, still a good .5” gap in both sides before contact.

Had not seen this before; a little pricey, but super useful (and renders some relatively dead space in the vehicle into being way more useable.

Only bummer is it apparently will not fit with the Raptor cross brace. I'd be all over it if someone had something similar for the Raptor, but don't want to pull my cross brace out just to put something like this in.

Coveralls and a sweatshirt to lay in my lovely driveway and change oil. Couldn’t lay in the yard because it’s a swamp from the snow and rain the past couple weeks. At least the oil is changed😂 I don’t know what I’m going to do with myself when I have a garage to work in some day (be comfortable and not cold and wet I guess!)

Some are using these as extra tie down points
That is a great point, but I have molle panels in the windows and most the stuff like a fridge or battery I want bolted to the floor.
I’ve looked at AAL and their MASS system, but I’m just conflicted. Gonna get through this camping/Bronco season and see what the true needs/wants are for the cargo area.
I will be adding what @Chritaka did. Had my eye on that drop down shelf from @Mountains2Metal for awhile now. I’m sure it will take me 2 hours.
Also @AZ_Craig it does say it works if you remove the crossbrace. Is that a big deal, I’m ignorant to Braptors.
Works with Raptor if cross brace is removed.
