Wolfbox Rear Camera Mount Location - Where's Yours?

Yes, everything in the rear is stock. The mirror only shows a portion of the image that the camera captures. You can scroll it down or up (see pics) so you can line it up pretty well with the rear window. When I play the recording back I see the spare and a large black band on the top. I've got a 2 door. Don't know what the view would be like on a 4 door arranged this way.

Now it looks like my view. Was just wondering where your tire was hiding. We have our cameras in the exact same place.

My camera is aimed up pretty high, the pic with the tire is scrolled down to the bottom of the image.

Think that the roll bar on the 2 door and 4 door are different distances from the rear.

Just mounted the camera Inside. I had it under the factory camera on the stalk but in rainy weather I could not see anything.

I just moved mine to the top of the third brake light... Better positioning, but it sure bounces now... hmm..

Mine is mounted inside in the rollbar nook as well and the picture is good as far as I am concerned and I don't have to worry about bad weather. I know the OEM backup camera always gets mucky when the weather is bad so I didn't want to have two bad cameras doing that. Picture of mount and view from mirror below.

I got a suction cup mount on Amazon and stuck it to the rear window.

Mounted mine under the third brake light. I have an extension on the third brake light to bring it up a little farther above the tire.

This is working great for me.
Make sure you put heat shrink tubing over the rear camera connector. It is not waterproof.
And big thanks to WolfBox customer support who had a replacement sent out asap.

With my setup you can also have a ‘rock crawling’ mode by flipping it down with the included bracket. No need to re-mount. It swivels.

This is a good idea. Are you able to zoom in the instance of getting a license plate behind you? Was it easy to hide the wires?
