One of my rear windows had a similar problem. Once it reaches the top, it rolls down until it leaves 1/3 ~ 1/2 inch glass out of the bottom seal. What I did was pushing it down until no window was out. It helps the door computer to reset the glass location.
I’ll have to check and see if it’s leaving some window above the bottom seal. Thanks!

Well, it wasn’t. Also, the window is operating completely normally now. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Awesome! One of my window issues also fixed itself. Still have one window acting up though. Hoping the other one gets it's act together and fixes itself too. This issue is sooo dumb though.

Got it fixed from the dealer they had this to say "CUSTOMER STATE RF PASS FRONT AND LR DRIVER REAR POWER WINDOWS WHEN USING AUTO UP FEATURE GO TO TOP AND DROP BACK DOWN ADVISE NOTE YOU HAVE TO INCH WINDOW UP SLOWLY TO CLOSE

VERIFIED CUST CONCERN FOUND WINDOW AUTO FEATURE INOP, PERFORMED DIAG, FOUND DDM AND PDM SOFTWARE UPDATES AVAIL, REPROGRAM DDM AND PDM, PERFORMED DRIVER AND PASS WINDOW Initialization, PERFORMED RETEST, FOUND ALL OKAY AT THIS TIME." Cost me $190 for the fix.

Well, I think I need to join the party on this issue. I had surbuban Ford in Waterford fix my rattling windows a few years ago and the issue came right back they said they would call me with a soon to be TSB. Years later and now I’m still rattling and now I am resetting the windows daily.

My drivers door will drop down immediately now and the reset isn’t fixing it. I know my Bronco is getting the updates. No warranty now so I’m out of luck. I just wanted to provide more awareness to this issue.

Does anyone know if they ever put out a TSB for the window rattle?

Thanks

Randall

Ford didn't consider this as something covered by the warranty?

Nope. Ford keeps delaying any repair for this. Current information says they will have a fix Q3 of this year, but they’ve been saying the same thing and pushing it back for years now.

Thx.

The daily reset is driving me insane. The issue of the window popping back down and not being able to reset just started a month ago. You gotta love that little whistle all the way to work and all the way home. I did check my Wi-Fi last night. My software is all up-to-date.

Had the window issue after 50 miles, took it back to the dealership and they replaced the switch, no problems since.

got this issue for the first time this morning. 12300 miles on a MY24. Did the reset and it worked for now. Didn't even touch the window after because I was on my way to work. Hopefully this fixed the issue, but I am due for service so I am going to bring that up to the dealer when I bring it in soon.

After dealing with my rear driver window not wanting to stay rolled up for about a month and a half now, one of these suggestions on here finally helped. I tried the hold the button for five plus seconds to reset it method countless times now, to no avail.

The things that finally got my window to be able to roll up, or maybe to be able to "relearn" it's position was using the key fob to make all four windows roll down, then press and hold for 5 seconds at the bottom, roll the window up and hold for 5 seconds at the top. That finally did the trick. I've been driving with a window slightly cracked for 6 weeks.

I feel like I could kiss all the people that suggested that in this thread.

Good afternoon,
I was told today by the stealership there is an update now for this issue. They will be installing new window rails/tracks tomorrow. Fingers crossed this works.

Cheers
