Has anyone else had a problem with their CVF charge pipes not staying connected?
I have yet to go more than 3-miles without one Blowing Apart. It's a different one every time. I am not impressed with the clamps that came with the kit. Thinking about changing all the clamps. Am I just a dumb-a$$? Never mind don't answer that.

No issues w/ my AFE charge pipes. What style clamp does CVF use?

I would guess your clamps are too loose or you have oil that has leaked into the intake tract and removing some added friction between your hoses and the mating surfaces of your tubing. I blew my cold pipe coupler on a Mishi tube set and damaged the hose and clamp because both rubbed on the balancer. I got a length of silicone hose and clamps from HPS while I worked out a warranty replacement and since it's been rock solid, I left it in place. If you think your clamps are tight you might clean those connections. Make sure you have equal amounts of hose on each end of your connections. Check your hose and tube alignments and don't tighten anything until it's all in place and you're happy with the hose fitments.

Thanks for your reply. I did have some oil in the cool pipes. This could be my problem. Thanks again!

Spring loaded T-bolt type.
AFE is the same...usually a very reliable clamp in my experience. Possibly some oil as mentioned above.
Just noticing your signature...you certainly must be flowing a lot of air!

My Misho stuff likes to pull out the Air intake connection after a rough ride. Lots of little micro adjustments on the rest of the pipes and the other hoses seems to help. I had it fixed once, but after re assembling it (after adding the intercooler) it did it again.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I went back and looked at each joint taking it apart and wiping it clean and then spent more time making sure each one had the proper engagement.
No problems so far including some 20+PSI runs.
Thanks again.

throw some clear nail polish on the silicone and it’ll help hold them together.

Is there room to double clamp each connection? That’s what we do on high-boost diesel stuff.

This may sound like BS but spray some Aqua Net hair spray at the connection and it will hold.
