Background-
Purchased the Oracle triple fog light kit in amber. Total amp draw is 7.5 amps. Bought the factory fog light switch (just fronts not rears) since my WT came with the mod bumper. Lux package so fog light harnesses were present near each tow hook. Long term plan- wire one light each side to factory switch as normal fogs. Wire two lights each side to AUX 2 for additional lighting.
Installed the switch and the lights and plugged them into the factory harness plugs using 4x4truckled’s pigtails. Just wanted them like this short term until I get the chance to wire them separately.
Made all the FORSCAN changes- BDYCm- both settings enabled (switch and lamps)
IPC- front fogs enabled.
BDYCm as built- changed middle section from 0000 to 0101.

The fog light indicator lights up in the display. Fog lights do not come on. Changed the as built setting to 0303 as some have had success with- nothing.
Reset all settings then re-input them- nothing.
Any ideas what to check? Is there a fuse? I think I read it’s totally controlled by the BCM so no fuse. Is the 7.5 amp draw to much so the BCM won’t power the lights? I’ve seen some powering up
to 6.5 amps with no issues. Ideas to what I should check? Harness not connected somewhere? Any help greatly appreciated!

Have you checked the ground? I hooked up my Diode Dynamics and thought I connected everything. Flipped the Aux switches and nothing. I was stumped for a few minutes and then realized I didn't hook up the ground.

I used the pigtail connectors that plug directly into the harness on the bronco. Each plug is two wires so I assume that’s hot plus ground? Do I need to ground it a different way?

The harness 4x4truckleds gave me had a separate wire that goes to the Aux switch and then a ground wire that I connected to a grounded bolt near the Aux wires that came out from the firewall. I'm not sure if the Oracle connection/harness is different than the Diode Dynamics. Maybe contact 4x4truckleds if that is where you purchased your setup to double check?

Old thread but did you figure out the issue? I’m doing same thing as yours, have done the forscan settings and purchased the pigtail adaptor. I can detect voltage from the deutsch connector while the fog is on. Oracle fog light is on the way but this thread makes me nervous… Thank you!

Thank you, I will. However, it takes 4-6 weeks to ship my fog light…

My amber fog lights arrived today and I’m very happy to see them working.
