Any one else’s transistor just doesn’t work? One of mine when plugged in gives me the fast blinking signal and tail light doesn’t work.
Anyone have extras they can sell me?

I noticed the fast blinker too, doesn't happen all the time, but when it does,
it goes back to normal blinking after a second or 2. Haven't yet determined if its left or right yet

Yeah I know my transistor went bad because one of them works just fine. I took out the bad transistor and just hooks up the tail light cable. All the lighting and signal works but it will randomly get the hyperflash signal.

going to ride out with it for now while I’m waiting on Morimoto to get back with me. It’s annoying. Brand new too.

I've been noticing the hyper flash a bit more often now, it seems random and only on the left turn signal. Sometimes it happens for a second or two, other times its more.

@nvbronco any reply from Morimoto?

Been trying to narrow the hyper flash issue, here is what I noticed:
- at night the issue never came up
- never seems to happen for the right turn signal
- happens during the day
- only thing that I noticed when it happens is that the battery voltage reads around 15v
- at night the voltage never went to 15v or above, (might be why it doesn't happen at night)

Here is a short video ( I sent this to 4x4TruckLEDs.com as requested )

Those of you who are having issues and have either NOT contacted us or DID NOT purchase from us... did your truck come with OEM Halogen tails?

I know we have 3 customers im working with right now that are experiencing hyperflashing/other issues. All three had OEM Halogen tails.

Im working with Morimoto to determine if this is just an OEM Halogen issue or something else.

IF you are having an issue have you EVER done ANY changes in FORSCAN (be honest, it'll help us figure out what's going on).

- halogen yes (non signature ones)
- no forscan tweeks
- I have added trail sight lights
- I have had trailer tow package installed by dealer

Nothing else I can recall that has constant power or updates to the software

BTW. If we email you stating the SAME THING in here, it's not because we're trying to be annoying but we don't know who you guys are with your screen names :)

I can track cases via email... so some of you MAY be responding here but also getting the same content emailed to you. I apologize for the duplications, as I said, I don't know who is who on here.

@nvbronco @jsoa I also am having the fast flash turn signal issue with my driver's Morimoto XB tail light. My Bronco is a '23 Black Diamond 2.3 Auto with the halogen tail lights and OEM non-signature head lights. The Morimoto XB tail lights (with resistors) worked perfectly when I first tested them until I noticed that the driver's brake light would not illuminate when the shifter was moved from Park to Drive or Reverse. Both resistors measured 10.2ohms. I tried swapping the resistors but the problem remained. Although I noticed that if I left the driver's resistor unplugged the issue went away (and plugging the resistor back in caused the brake light to go out.) I left the driver's resistor out for a day and then the fast flash turn signal problem appeared on the driver's side. When this happens, the turn signal stops functioning and the indicator on the dash flashes quickly to alert that a bulb is out.

I have been in contact with Adam @4x4TruckLEDs.com during this troubleshooting he has been very responsive to try and get to the issue resolved. He had Morimoto send me a replacement set. I installed the new driver's side light (with the known good resistor from the passenger side) and while this light didn't display the brake light Park-Drive issue, it did develop the fast flash problem a day later.

Other notes:
-Both times I installed the lights and tested them with the Bronco in park, everything worked fine. The first light (without the resistor) and the replacement light (with the resistor) worked fine for an entire evening (~60°F) of testing and driving only to have immediate fast flash problems the next morning (~43°F).
-I scanned the DTC codes for the BdyCM and it stored a Code - Left Rear Turn Indicator Circuit Short To Ground. I was able to reset this and the issue went away for an evening only for it to reappear when starting the Bronco the next morning.
-I wonder if it is related to temperature of the light or the cold start of the Bronco.
-I also was observing the battery voltage indicator and it seemed high voltage (>14V) would correlate with the fast flash at first. However, I did have the fast flash issue when the voltage was at a normal 13.2V.
-The turn signal issue is doesn't depend on if the headlights are on/off, high beams, fogs, etc.
-The passenger light has worked perfectly from day one with either resistor.
-I swapped back to my OEM halogen tails for now and they have been working perfectly.

My guess is that the Morimoto lights are drawing too much current during turn signal operation and they are tripping a protecting in the BdyCM circuitry/software.

So much for plug and play. I fee like a product tester. It's a bummer because I love the way they look both off and on and they are a huge improvement in brightness over the OEM halogens. Hopefully @morimoto can figure it out or give a refund.

Just for my knowledge, has anyone with the factory LED lighting had any issues with these?
