Falken Widpeaks work good my Raptor and before that on the Bronco Sport.
When needed that's probably what I'll get unless something else shows up

Thanks! I'll have to click on each one I haven't looked at to see the tread pattern since this Bronco will NEVER be off road.
Yokohama x-at, the 315’s are load range c, the 35’s are incorrectly listed. They are e. My wife has them and i like them, a lot. When she needs new ones it will be c range

I had skipped this tire since it was load range E, I saw the X-AT in the lower load range.

How's the ride? What PSI do you run them at?
Edit: How are they with gravel?
Also, my wife works in a gravel lot, no issues with x-at e’s.. get the c’s…..

I’m about to throw on some Cosmo Mud Kickers (a Walmart sold very budget MT (5 for $960) and be as far as I can tell the first person to actually use them for off-roading and I’ll be giving an honest review of them comparing them to the Max Traction Goodyears. Current Goodyears are chunked after three hard off-roading trails in Surprise and Scottsdale areas and 24.5k additional road miles.

Wow, well over 20 recommendations! Wait for it...no clear winner! lol, shocker!

Tied for 1st (3 each):
MT Baja Boss AT
Toyo Open Country RT Trail
Falken Wildpeak AT4w

Geolandar ATs got a few recommendations, but unclear between G015, X-AT and A/T4.
BFG's, between KO3 and KO2 mentions, probably more than any other tire.

MT Legend EXPs were on my short list, but reports of rock throwing.

New Bronco arrived at the dealer, right now I'm temped to throw on the Baja ATs and buy Baja MTs for the Jeeps.

Those look like some fun tires! Haven't heard of them before

I've researched/searched at nauseum, tires this size for the use case are annoying me. I have to decide on something this week.

My wife's HLE arrives this weekend, the SAS tires do not jive with our gravel driveway, that is the only reason I'm replacing them ASAP. I don't want higher than a load range D tire, on-road, quiet and wet traction needs to be good.

I'm leaning toward the Mickey Thompson Baja EXPs (D) or the Falken Wildpeak A/T4W (C), how are these with gravel compared to the SAS tires? Are there less aggressive options that don't look nerdy and not in the E/F range?

Even these are overkill since it will never be off road. I have my old 35" Baja ATs sitting the garage, I was going to put those on this new Bronco, but again that'd be a waste so I'll put those on the Jeep since the Goodyear MTs are trashed.

Thanks!!
It’s ā€œad nauseamā€ (Latin). A solid response to this post would be an English acronym DILLIGAF?

What are you looking for? Someone to tell you what tire to put on? This thread seems like nonsense, but I assume I'm missing something. You are the log jam.

Lots of great insights on different tires have been shared that can help me and others on the forum where shared. Not everyone has the same use case for their Broncos.

THANK YOU! (375)

Dude, seriously, I can tell you to buy some Geolander, or Cooper Stt Maxx Pros, Falken Anything, etc... Nobody's going to tell you what you you want without telling you what you need. The Geolander or Cooper Stt Maxx fill out the bill. But you're just stuck. The Maxxis M/T are a lot of fun it you don't need sweeping easy tire. Get a big void tire if you don't want to throw rocks. There is no perfect.

I have Toyo Open Country M/Ts. I LOVE THEM. And no - they are not crazy noisy like M/Ts usually are. Once they are broken in (like one trail run) they a quite smooth. Plus, since they are "TRUE" 35s, they look beefier and are also great looking tires too

Despite their crafty name, the stock GY MT’s are actually AT’s.

Putting brands aside for a moment, true Mt’s have wider spacing between the tread lugs and usually stone ejectors. AT’s have smaller spacing. RT’s or hybrids fall in between.

Sure, exact tread design make some better than others even in the same category. But generally speaking RT’s and MT’s will fling less gravel. Of course that means more aggressive tread which apparently is a problem for you, oh you’re wife. 😜

Tires and wheels are full of compromises. By pure definition an AT is all about compromise. Great at nothing and average at most stuff. You’re driving yourself bat sh*t crazy because you haven’t learned or accepted this yet. Pick your poison and live with the decision.
