Any issues installing on a Black Diamond? Description on lethal performance website states not compatible with Black Diamond package.
It’s not compatible with Black Diamond unless you have the HD modular bumper or make the same modifications to your bumper that I did in the video.

Did you ever wind up address the sag? Anyone know the spring parts number for the 4-door Badlands with 2.7/auto or the First Edition (heaviest Bronco)?

Yes, then we've been 20% off ($1000) with codes, so $850 plus tax if you can find a working 20% code.
And that’s a good deal considering it’s the Zeon line (US made).

As far as weight, I’m guessing 190# includes the winch, frame horn supports, mount plate and hoop bar. My Warn Evo 12k is around 80# for the winch only.

@Ducati1098 got you the info you needed, but to answer the question I didn't address it yet. Still deciding what to do with the cargo area. Trying to decide if I want to just get a storage system for the Bronco if I want to go all-out with a trailer. (Admittedly the latter is what I really want to do, but it's 4x the cost.)

I have decided that I will not be buying the springs new from Ford. Doesn't make sense in my mind to buy a new part that isn't really a true upgrade. So I'll either be buying take-offs on the cheap or all-new suspension.

Maybe one way to look at the equation is if you spend 4X the money do you get 4X the usability? For instance, trailers easily hook up to most vehicles meaning it could have additional use and life beyond the Bronco. Also you could likely sell the trailer for a decent chunk of your investment when you are done using it.

On the flip side, the trailer doesn’t fix the sag. It may just lessen what you spend on suspension as a “good enough” fix. And honestly if you pull quite a bit you may want OME suspension or similar anyhow. Not to mention your ability to do more extreme trails may be limited as you won’t be able to easily upgrade tire size, etc. And that may be okay too, depending what kind of trails you like to run and how hard you are willing to push.

Lastly is just preference. Having watched your video it appears you have plenty of space to store the trailer but that can be a problem for some. For me, I learned awhile back I just don’t really like pulling a bunch of “junk” behind me when I’m exploring. You spend a bunch to own it, store it, insure it, tag it, etc and unless you are really dedicated you likely don’t use it more than 6-12x per year. When I had my RV it seemed more hassle than pleasure. For general hauling I have friends, family and coworkers I can borrow from for the few times I need/want it. Obviously I didn’t always see it that way as I owned stuff but sold once I learned how I prefer to operate.

Just wanted to say thank you for trailblazing the install of the Ford performance winch on a capable bumper- your detailed instructions/video inspired me to 'take the risk' a couple of weeks ago when the price dropped on the winches and purchase one for my non-sas black diamond with capable bumper. Utilizing your video, i had it physically installed in less than 4 hours, and the wiring in an hour or so the next day. I found notching out the (2) areas on the bumper was easiest with a jigsaw (didn't have to disassemble the bumper reinforcements to get in there) and i had a little toruble getting the skidplate back on (i had to enlarge the forward holes a little bit) but otherwise everything was just like you showed. Again, just wanted to express my gratitude as i don't think i would have purchased the winch if I hadn't seen your video.

I am split at the same decision. I am leaning towards the trailer as I has an abundant amount of land area to store it, can keep the Bronco interior cleaner (something about it being my primary sleeping area while hauling the wood infested with god knows what bugs just gets in my head), and it will be way easier to hit the campsite and drop the trailer to go wheeling then it would be to wheel with a full load.

Winch goes on this weekend. Really appreciate you taking the leap. I am determined to route the wires a different way then you did though.
