Installed Rock Slide Engineering step / sliders. Actually started yesterday afternoon. Saw somewhere it should be about a 3 hour job but all total it took me about 11 hours. Learned I should have read and watched the video instructions before hand instead of just reading the instructions as I went along. Also should have unpacked everything and sorted out all of the brackets. Ended up figuring it all out and only had to backtrack a little. Glad that job is done. I'm getting too old to be installing stuff myself.
finally an honest person…takes me a week to do what I used to do in a couple hours…

Took her to the Porcupine Mountains in Upper Michigan a few weekends ago. My first real off the grid adventure. No running water or cell coverage. We kept to the trailhead roads, but it was still great to get out of town. Fit everything we needed in the back with the seats down just fine. May add a hitch basket at some point if needed.

Before and after. Changed from a capable bumper to a "New" well used modular bumper that came with the RTR tube ends and a safari bar. We added some tasty up graded KC lights to complete the package.

Thanks I appreciate it! You've got a pretty nice looking rig there yourself! I'm working my way up slowly. Next trip will be to Tigerton WI to visit my first off road park.
Kind of feel like this scene from Cars.. LOL.

Yes finally someone with the RTR tube ends. I have been on the fence with these because of the cost but damn they look so good.

Changed out the stock non-SAS tires and shocks for the Kenda Klever 315/70/17 and the Bilstein 6112.

I also kept the stock tires and mounted them on the stock rims, but i powercoated the stock rims with β€˜Triple Bronze’ - i wanted to keep the bronze theme when I change the tires out.
