Google up the list of famous actresses who posed in playboy. It's another income stream, and a very lucrative one at that. Only Fans is the new version, but the concept has been around a long time.

Not sure what 1950's chauvinist world you live in, but I'm pretty sure Brittany makes the decision to model nude and is not being told to do so by her husband. You know, that whole equality thing.

Back on topic, ADV is doing a heck of a job keeping their google reviews on lock down. APG on the other hand hasn't really tried to have google delete the reviews.

Not deleting reviews, but they did delete their own posts on this forum directing customers to preorder through ADV

I guess reviews can’t be held against them in court

I'm tellin' ya, LiteBrite has a relationship with APG. Take anything @LiteBrite says with a grain (pile) of salt. Wouldn't be surprised if they find themselves in a deposition in the lawsuit about what they knew.

It's not worth it. This whole thread now is hot takes, or the call it what it is, male gossip.

Occam's razor would say APG partnered with ADV to produce a "top of the line" top, neither knew what they were getting into, APG and/or ADV didn't design the first top for delivery, scrapped it, starting designing another one offshore (which is an order of magnitude more complex), all the while ADV was funding the invoices they were getting with presales that couldn't be fulfilled, oversold everything from where to what was being produced and when to keep sales juiced, APG kept pushing out production dates to "get it right" (from 10k miles away), and eventually ADV got bit by the presales and refunds and decided to bring down APG for their tardiness vis a vis the deliveries.

How close or far away from accurate that is doesn't really matter to many on this thread, which is a pile-on, because everyone loves a car wreck. Speaking reason to a mob.

This is the first time I have heard of LB but they are not coming off as someone I want to do business with. I stubbled upon panda before finding this forum and bought a few things because of their great install videos and honestly that positive attitude comes across in their post (at least to me).
I am continuing to watch this thread because I wanted the ADV too and even shared the link on Reddit as something I was waiting for since the ford OEM top was just as expensive and not as feature rich.luckily I just saved the bookmark rather than spending the money. Looking at other tops folks have suggested here, I still see some that are “shipping soon” so still have my doubts. I hope folks can get all or most of their money back and tbh I don’t see myself supporting APG, ADV, or any affiliated companies. That’s only me and I know my one decision won’t impact them, but that’s the choice I get to make.

Of course they have a relationship with APG there's multiple videos of Liite Brite promoting their Bronco build. That didn't happen without a contract. It's why we won't see Lite Brite say anything bad about APG. Lite Brite has been the spokespeople for lots of companies like Nitto, and Bilstein, that doesn't mean they are responsible for the cooperate decisions of those companies.
